Efficient in reservation: immediate email response and confirmation incl. all needed information. Very professional. And when checking in at the hotel, the same standard of efficiency and profesionalism is maintained. A place to return to. Has underground parking which is ideal if one does not wish to leave a fully packed car in the street.

Stayed here in Oct 2017 while on Camino. We were a group of 6 and the apartment was very suitable for a group. You have to collect key from a hotel which is quite a distance from the apartment. It was spotless with a full kitchen with washing machine. 2 of us slept on sofa beds which could of been a bit better but still managed a good sleep. Twin bedrooms were excellent and it had 2 bathrooms withs showers. The town centre is about 10 minute walk away

We had to collect the key from a hotel which was a distance away but the receptionist gave clear directions and made it easy to find. The apartment was clean and modern with everything we needed. I liked that the bedroom and bathroom (with huge shower) were upstairs. The location was good - away from the centre but only a short walk away. Loved Burgos and were surprised by the numbers of bars and restaurants.

Spent two days in Burgos. On our way to Saint Jean de Luz. The apartment was excellent. A short walk to the cathedral. The apartment had washer, refrigerator, free parking on the street. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended for families

Excellent location just a shortish walk from the beautiful city center. Spacious duplex apartment in a lovely old stone building in a quiet park like area. Reasonably well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, heating/aircondition throughout, parquet flooring, wifi in living area. Loved the fact that there was a dishwasher. Key collection at a different part of town which was a tad bit inconvenient.

We arrived as pilgrims to centrally located hotel Maria Luisa to pick up the keys for our apartments. First we only got one key for each place which is inconvenient since the apartment is not exactly centrally located (15 minutes walk from town), so I hid the key behind a tree nearby. There are no nearby cafés/restaurants and the supermarket was closed (Sunday) when I discovered we'd forgotten to bring coffee for breakfast. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and once folded out there are no comfy seats left in the unit - apart from dining seats. Internet was not great either. Instructions for washing machine were missing,... But overall it was clean and ok otherwise. Well, I thought it was particularly (double) expensive as well compared to what fellow pilgrims were reporting on in town. Oh, and did I mention the hot water? Forget long showers here as there is only really enough for two brief showers.

We stayed in Apartment B - a one bedroom apartment with sleeping capacity for four. Bathroom was very modern but kitchen had no cupboard to put glasses or plates in so had to leave them on the kitchen bench top. The kitchen sink design was extremely poor in that the steps of the stair case intruded in the working space whilst at the sink, resulting in my husband repeatedly banging his head whilst washing the dishes. On arrival we found the dishwasher would not turn on & a phone call to the Hotel Maria Luisa, only resulted in a comment of ‘they will take a note of it’ with no action to fix the problem. On investigation we found that it was due to the swelling of the timber panels of the kitchen cupboard preventing the dishwasher door from closing. A fault that would have taken months if not years to develop. The Rice Group operate four & three star Hotels in Burgos together with a number of restaurants & to allow this mechanical deterioration to continue in their modern apartment we think that it is extremely poor. Kitchen only had a small bar fridge with freezer, but was sufficient for us for only two days, not a week. The apartment had an underground locked car park next door (10 Euro/day) & each resident is given a remote for the door – very convenient & secure for our car. Burgos city was an easy 500 meter walk to Cathedral, Plaza Mayor & shops. The air-conditioner worked very well , but TV had no English speaking channels. The hot water tank is small with a capacity for about two showers, then the next person will have to wait around 15-20 minutes for the hot water to heat up again. There was a large Mercodona supermarket within walking distance or a one minute drive away. Upon leaving all you have to do is ring the Maria Luisa. Hotel on apartment telephone (all national calls are free) & advise staff that you are leaving apartment & leave the keys & car park remote on kitchen table & shut the door. There was no literature left in the apartment on TV channels, location of supermarket & all the little things that you need to know for self accommodation. Again we thought that the Hotel Rice Group would have organised this better. The apartment was in a great location, & we would stay here again, & ask for another apartment not apartment ‘B’.

Excellent modern and well equipped 2 bedroomed apartment. Located on outskirt of “old” area of city, making the historic centre walkable. Underground garage parking available, note that the entrance to this is round the back, and to get to it, you have to drive up onto the pavement in front of the apartments. Equipped with dishwasher (they provide tablets) and washing machine (no powder provided) and microwave and 2 hob rings. Large flat screen TV downstairs and small one up in main bedroom. Second bedroom has bunk beds, not ideal for adults. There is a sofa bed in salon too. Iron, hairdryer, cleaning equipment provided. Upstairs and downstairs has AC and wi-fi. Overall excellent value. Bit of a faff to get the keys from Hotel Maria Luisa across other side of city, where parking can be tricky. Pay here at check-in though, and then for checkout there is no need to revisit it, just leave keys in the apartment.
