Stunning hostel! Based in a castle, superb setting. Was there for a meeting. Staff are wonderful, food was amazing and the meeting facilities are excellent. The hostel rooms themselves are comfortable and the bathrooms are good sized. Only 10 minutes walk into Toledo to soak up lots of wonderful restaurants and culture.

This place is in an amazing old castle, but the interior is all new and lacking in atmosphere. It's too bad-there just wasn't any character. The room was a good size, for two people with a private bath, and I think the price was very good it you already have a HI card-if not this adds a lot to the cost. It was clean, basic and the place was well maintained, but unfortunately the pool was closed (the last week in May)

I was looking for an 'albergue' with my sister, so we followed the map and where a bit surprised when we saw 'the budget accomodation place for sudents'. it was incredible to look for modest building and find the castle! the room was very warm, bath was as spacious as in some 5**** hotel. well, the windows were more like shooting holes (actually, they were the shooting holes), but it was fantastic and romantic experience. though the albergue is not so close to the center, there was a tiny typical spanish bar a little bit down the hill to spend the evening.

Very nice place with Don Quijote. I is a great old city with a smell to the 16 century like Santillana del mar.
