Firstly, no welcome. Keys had to be picked up from another hotel even though we arrived mid-afternoon. The rooms did not resemble the ones on the website. It was very clean but very small with the bathroom being in a cupboard. Coffee making facilities had coffee creamer but no coffee and teabags but no milk. No staff present to request anything. On entering the breakfast room, we were met by a very stern looking lady. Breakfast room was very quiet, no atmosphere and very unwelcoming thus we walked out and found a nice coffee shop. Only plus point was the lovely staircase and interesting, old building

It is an old house, with a very friendly staff. Just minutes a way from Savigny Platz. In Charlottenburg. Nice rooms; a wunderfull breakfast. We liked it very, very much. The beds are very good. It is quiet (there are rooms on the garden side).

My wife, my daughter (10 yrs) and I recently spent 4 nights at Hotel Elba. This hotel has everything a small family needs for an extended weekend. Breakfast at 9,50 EUR was excellent, our room was proper with comfortable beds, clean bathroom and calm and quiet at night. Nothing more to wish for.

The hotel-pension is very well situated and connects directly with both airports (S-Bahn to Schönefelt and bus to Tegel). U- and S-Bahn stations with access to 5 lines and several buslines are within 1-5 min walk. In the area there are several restaurants, shops, including supermarkets, and cafes. The hotel may need some renovation; however, the essentials are in fine condition (bed, bathroom, shower). My room (Comfort-room) was spacious, quiet and bright. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional, and the hotel-pension seems to emphasize the pension-homely-like aspect. This was reflected both in the decoration of corridor areas and the breakfast/library room, and in the breakfast, which was very different from standard hotel breakfasts. Here is served a wide variety of small delicious dishes, that almost certainly must have been homemade. Highly recommendable!! The garden should also be worth a visit in summer. The wifi was speedy.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of October for a family break in the city. It’s a quirky hotel located in a quiet street but with plenty of amenities around and close to Kurfürstendamm. Access could be a problem if you are disabled and not easy with a pushchair. There is one old fashioned lift which serves its purpose perfectly adequately but it is not large. We had a large room for 4 with a small balcony overlooking the quiet street with a small ensuite. The breakfast here is definitely worth Booking - good value and VERY nice. We booked on arrival day by day. The hop on/hop off bus tour starts close by on the main Kurfürstendamm. There are plenty of nice places to eat later at night. All in all, very pleased with the hotel and location. We arrived to Schonefeld airport and got the metro in. We came off at Savingyplatz but went back to the airport from the station by the zoo which was direct and no further to walk from the hotel - this one’s probably the easiest. Approx 10min walk with cases and kids from U-bahn to hotel.

This hotel centrally located near U and S bahn, in a quiet street very close to kurfurstendamm. Perfect tourist hotel, clean rooms with small bathroom, but in a quiet street. The hotel building is old and mainly bathrooms are renovated and up to standard. Breakfast has variety of fruit, yoghurt, cheese and meet and dried fruits. Different choices of bread and fruit juices. Valua for money given the fact that one is centrally located.

The breakfast was amazing: lot of diverse food, for every taste, bed was very confy and the room extremely clean. Also the staff helped us with all we needed. The location is great, near a lot of international restaurants where you can eat great food. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that the reception is open only until 9 PM, so if you arrive later than this hour, let them know about it so you can schedule you arriving properly.
