Lovely boutique hotel in amazing location. Very convenient for skiing. Staff was lovely, breakfast was standard international breakfast. Only complaint is you needed to reserve and pay for hot tub and it would have been nice to be able to hang out in the game room past 8 pm when hotel closes

The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. The outdoor areas are great for reading your book or having a cocktail from their bar. There is a lot of thought put into the decor and theme. It was a great location to walk to shops and restaurants.

The location of this inn is great. Walking distance to all the good restaurants in town, and you can even walk to the Brevent lift. The parking in front of the inn was a big relief and very convenient. the rooms were very comfortable, and the bar for après ski was nice. Just a few reasons we didn't give this a full 5 stars: -- we found the breakfast not worth the $18 they charged per person, per day. They should either improve the quality of the food, or drop their breakfast fee. We would have paid $10 for the simple buffet offered. Instead, we walked down the road to a small café nearby where we had a nicer breakfast for less money. -- the staff wasn't as helpful or as friendly as I would think for a smaller place. I think some of it was a lack of comfort in English. -- one reason we booked at this place were the great pictures of the hot tub in their adverts. They didn't mention that you have to pay $10 per person per day to use the jacuzzi. for American travelers, that is not expected. I would recommend they charge all rooms a bit more per night, then make the facilities free for all guests. That is what we would expect.

Simple, clean, well located near village. Not a luxury hotel. Think the faux-fireplace encapsulates well. Simple breakfast buffet. Note: no elevator, no front desk 2000-0800, extra fee for use of jacuzzi/sauna.

Nice little family hotel and we appreciate taking only a 3 night booking over such a busy period. Our rooms were large but found the beds fairly uncomfortable and the bathrooms tiny and not to a great standard (toilet rolls in a dispenser, hairdryer attached to the wall, awkward shower screens....) made the place feel more like 3 star. Having to pay to play pool in the lounge area made it feel more like a backpackers! Great location for an easy walk to town and the bus stop for skiing Staff were lovely and very helpful Skip breakfast although the coffee was ok

Dear Mr Wise, We thank you for taking the time to write a comment about Auberge du Manoir! As a 3 star hotel, we indeed do not have all the facilities of a 4star or a 5star hotel. However we are glad that you had a good stay with us! We hope that your stay in Verbier was good too. Hope to see you again very soon at Auberge du Manoir! Kind regards Lauren, Hospitality Manager

A fantastic 3 star in the heart of Chamonix! Our host Mathilde was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Amazing breakfast featuring local products. Our room with a view of the mountains was well appointed. with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Cozy lounge adjacent to the lobby with lots of seating and games and a small bar. Convenient parking right out front. Highest recommendation!

Good experience overall. Rooms not big, but nice and very clean, which is the most important. Very nice staff - always smiling and very welcome. Great location in the center of Chamonix. It is also not too far away from ski lifts.

My wife and I and another couple spent four nights at this hotel and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful and very well maintained and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. When we wanted to enjoy the incredibly beautiful weather during our stay with a bottle of wine in the garden, the staff obliged by providing wine glasses. Our last night there we purchased some pizza from a local shop and brought it back to the hotel. The staff brought us plates and glasses for our meal. Breakfast was good, but we only ate there one morning as we really liked walking through Chamonix early before it got even a little busy and we would just stop somewhere else for breakfast. The only negative was that we expected to have a view of the mountain (Mont Blanc), but our window faced the opposite direction, so we got to look at the roof of an adjoining building. However, the overall experience of the hotel more than made up for that disappointment.

Dear Tim H, We thank you for your very nice comment! We are happy that you had a good stay at Auberge du Manoir. We are sorry about your disappointement about the view of the room, that was not the one you required. It is true that some of our rooms are not facing the Mont Blanc, and we can give it to our guests when it is available.
