Hotel France Eiffel. I hated it every single seconds of my stay room 44 was dirty smelly stuffy. The room needed a renovation very very badly very very health concerned, during the the rainy weather water were stripping down from the ceiling making the carpet soaking wet next to the plug sockets. If this hotel been given a full inspection its won’t be allowed to opened to public

Clean budget hotel, easy walking distance to Eifel tower. Recommend going to a bakery just up the street for breakfast fare. Good for a short stay in Paris. Stayed with wife and granddaughter and the room was tight but fit for purpose

Good hotel, close to city attractions, polite staff. Good in general what was a plus A+ of this hotel is that is 5 minutes away from Eiffel Tower which is great, Supermarkets, restaurants , pharmacies, cute stores of souveniers, Small but cozy, very clean, they offer breakfast. If I return to Paris I would choose this hotel again.

I stayed here for 2 nights Choosing this hotel was my biggest mistake The room was too small and totally different from pictures Light was too dim Staff was very rude And the worst thing happened to me is I forgot my wallet in their hotel room. And I tried to connect with them so many times over calls and emails They these people are least bothered to respond. They have just replied only 1 time that too mentioned we will ask our housekeeping and then let you know. After that no respond. This place is worst I must say

Air BnB messed up with our booking and we ended up in booking this hotel at the last moment. The day time lady at the front desk was courteous. The room given doesn't at all look like that of photo! The photos are totally deceiving. The room just ends as soon as it starts. Toilets are so small that they are high chances that you will get stuck in commode or shower stall! Wifi Internet never worked in the room. The elevator was not working half of the time and we had to get all luggage by stair. On 1st day, heater in the room was so high that we were sweating the whole night. On second and third night, plug points in the room stopped working and we had to charge our phones in lobby. The night lady at front desk was seating there just to say "Sorry but I can't help right now, will address this tomorrow during day time"! Except for location everything else is just pathetic!…

Room 22. Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with a friend for our city break away. We booked through travelrepublic.com and the photos on the website are NOTHING like what the rooms actually look like. Only Pros are: •Close to Eiffel Tower (more of a 15 minute walk rather than 5 like claimed) •Staff seem friendly Cons: •Mould and awful staining on carpet •Smells of damp •Gets extremely hot as window does not open at all •Wallpaper in wardrobe is peeling off horrendously •All channels on TV are french or German there’s is not 1 English channel to watch •Claims to have free WiFi which is high speed but neither of us can access it at all and fails to connect every time •No temperature system so room gets extreme temperatures (really cold or boiling) •Bathroom sink has at some point been smashed and has been fixed by what looks like cement patched together •No main light, only 2 side lights and a lamp which give no light at all •Curtain covering the window is hanging off the railing and got lipstick marks all over •Plug sockets have odd design so can only fit one travel plug into the wall at one time •When rooms are cleaned, the bedding is not fresh as the same stained and dirty sheets are simply turned over the other way so that they appear clean •Towels aren’t changed either so the same old dirty towels are folded back up and placed onto shelf •The lift is something out of a horror film, with a door you have to open yourself and buttons that don’t work- you can barely fit 2 people in let alone with luggage •Fridge in room is broken so can’t keep anything in there •Shower is also broken so takes around 40 minutes for what’s meant to be a 15 minute maximum shower •Headboard of the bed is dated and marked to an extreme •Carpet feels so dirty you don’t want to remove your trainers let alone socks or slippers •Hairdryer that is provided in bathroom is dangerous as when being used it nearly comes off the wall •No security in lobby etc so anyone can walk in and out of hotel without being questioned so feel very unsafe •Can hear EVERY SINGLE NOISE- road noise, walking up and down the stairs and corridor, toilet being flushed next door, walls are so thin you can hear people talking and even snoring through the night •We had breakfast included in our deal but didn’t attempt it as the “restaurant” consisted of practically 3 tables and a few chairs with a couple of cold croissants Will add photos to follow.…

We came and stayed for my birthday. Lady on reception is absolutely amazing, she had all the time in the world to sit and speak to us about where is best to go. How to make our way back to the airport, using the map that she gave us. Breakfast was 12 euros each not great. Cold hot dogs. Few pastrys. Nothing outstanding.. Bit over priced we found (breakfast) rooms could be upgraded but we only went back to sleep as we was so busy. Over all was good but can improve alot. Daytime receptionist was very good!

Stopped here for 3 nights in Sept with my son on our way to Dubai then a tour of India. We had a corner room overlooking 2 roads on the first floor. The hotel probably was good at one time. Not anymore. Think the hotel photos have been photo shopped, as our room was nothing like this. The room was shabby with large dirty stains on the carpet. You felt as though it was filthy without shoes. The beds were ok and there were huge wardrobes. However the walls were dirty as was the door. There was no safety deposit box in the room. TV was very limited. The worst was the tiny bathroom. It was the smallest bathroom I've ever ever seen (3 foot x 3 foot if that). In fact the door was all smashed where the door had been opened and broken on the toilet seat. I can't believe they allowed people to stay in rooms with amenities like this for the price they were charging. The room had 2 windows but one window only had 1 curtain which only covered 70% of the window. I'm assuming originally there were 2 curtains but they didn't bother replacing the damaged or missing curtain. Also the traditional windows were paper thin so you could hear people walking past and talking at all times of night as well as traffic. Being on the corner there were 2 sets of road noise. So we rarely slept first due to the sound from outside, second due to the 1 curtain covering the window. As I've already stated dirty carpets with large stains, damaged doors (the hole in the bathroom door was about 12 inches long and 3 inches wide so it must have been damaged for quite a while without being fixed) means this is hardly 3*. I would say it is 1* Blackpool quality at the most. The hotel cost about £140 a night. There are plenty of other hotels in the price range or on the outskirts for £40 less that were much higher quality. The only redeeming feature was it was 10 mins walk from the metro and about 20 mins from the Eiffel tower. I walk slow due to arthritis so don't take my walking times as gospel. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I complained about the curtain and the door but the hotel was full. If I had been stopping longer than 3 days I would have moved hotels as I don't think it was worth paying this amount. We could have stopped near the Gard du Nord for less than £100 and commuted everywhere. In the end this would have been better as you only see the Eiffel once then commute everywhere anyway. So stopping near the Eiffel was good for 1 day then you had to commute everywhere. Also the noise of traffic and state of the room means it wasn't worth it. We had shared transfers from the airport but it took 1 hr to get to the hotel which was 21 miles from the airport. We only did 1 drop off before us but it shows you how congested the roads are. Maybe my room quality is a fluke as some people have put great reviews. On this trip I have stopped in 6 hotels and I have graded them 4 @ 5*, 1 @ 3*, and this one at 1* so I would like to think I am an honest and truthful reviewer. This year I have been lucky enough to stop in 11 countries and 15 hotels (travelling is my passion) and this hotel was the worst by far. Most hotels I have stopped in I have given 4* or 5* reviews. Paris was very expensive (traditionally) but due to the terrible Euro to Pound exchange rate it was even more so. Make sure you bring plenty of cash!!…

The location is 14 not 5 mins walk from the Eiffel tower as the website claims. The rooms are small and had broken bathroom furniture, awful carpets - not like the photos. Very basic. Bed clean and comfy. Staff on reception kind but can’t do much to change the facts. Booking via lastminute.com i requested bath and shower but didn’t get a bath as LM didn’t tell the hotel. Can see a 1mm sliver of the Eiffel tower from one window.....
