Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

The Premier Inn Nottingham City Centre Hotel garners appreciation for its central location near attractions and the convenience of on-site amenities like Costa Coffee. While guests enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and tidy rooms, some have faced challenges with noise from the bustling streets and trams. The service quality elicits mixed feedback, as experiences range from friendly assistance to slower, less attentive interactions. Although the hotel's cleanliness and value are generally praised, travelers have noted inconsistent cleaning services and additional costs.

Had booked premier in as a last minute booking. At first glance the hotel looked tried and run down but the rooms were spotless clean as well as the bed and the bathroom. Staff was very accommodating and well mannered. The food was ok. Overall is your looking a clean warm and safe place to sleep for a good price this hotel ticks all the boxes

All was clean and comfortable as I would expect from Premier Inn. Pleasant greeting with enough staff to minimise wait time check in. The staff serving breakfast were so friendly and full of cherriness it was an uplifting experience way beyond my expectations. Thank you, you really made a difference to my day

It was very convenient to get a tram straight from the train station almost to the hotel door. A Costa Coffee next door a big plus although on this occasion I didn’t use. Walking distance to the shopping centre and the Nottingham 10k which was the reason for our stay. The room was great, check in quick and easy and there were no problems during our time there. Looking forward to returning for the Robin Hood Half Marathon in September.

I stayed one night whilst visiting Nottingham midweek for a football match. Check in was very quick, although the key card needed to be done twice but no drama in sorting that. Regular PI room, usual basics, very clean, no A/C but not needed, good strong shower and as always a solid breakfast buffet. Excellent value for £75 IMO. My view was the. car park and bins but guess that's luck-of-the-draw! The free WiFi is really slow so gave up and used 4G to do a little bit of work that I needed to do in the morning. Free off street parking is about 15 minute walk away, otherwise it's either paid for parking at the hotel and when spaces run out you've discounted at a nearby Q Park. Surprisingly busy hotel for midweek. All the staff were great. Happy to stay another time.

Friendly staff and clean comfy rooms but BEWARE the sat nav / post code challenge. The postcode on the hotel website takes you to a parallel road. As I don't know Nottingham at all I got to the end of that road and turned right without realising that this would take me through a tram stop which means you get a fixed penalty fine. Apparently the hotel can only be reached by car one particular way to avoid this but the hotel don't share this helpful information visibly on their website. When I checked at reception they said this was a common problem so WHY ISNT THIS HELPFUL INFO ON THEIR WEBSITE????

Excellent location, we always choose this hotel for gigs at the Rescue rooms as it’s minutes away, staff are helpful and friendly, hotels always clean and rooms ready. Thank you. Stayed here several times a year for a few years now and back there in a few days and never had a complaint so far

I stayed at this location for two nights in February & this is my takeaway- Positive- *Bed was comfortable *Room was clean *Dinner was fantastic, food was well cooked & nicely presented although the portion size of the fries left a bit to be desired. *Breakfast was fantastic as well, food all well cooked & plentiful. Negative- *Check-in-When I arrived, the staff member on duty seemed...Bored if not disinterested? Not a very warm welcome as I am used to receiving from this company *The room itself, although clean had noise issues from the room(s) above in that the guest(s) in that room seemed to be dropping things & stomping around with little to no consideration as to the person(s) trying to sleep the floor below them & at one point on the Saturday night there was such a loud bang from that room I honestly thought that the door to *my* room had been kicked in so I didn't sleep at all that night, which wasn't good as I had a 10hour journey home ahead of me the following morning. *Upon my departure, the gentleman who was on reception duty had issues with the taxi service as I had to repeatedly ask him where the taxi was as I was standing outside in the cold for at least half an hour before a taxi turned up. I should add that the staff member on reception duty didn't seem to understand (care?) that I *needed* that taxi as soon as possible or I would have missed my connection back home which would have left me stranded. Something to be wary of if you're catching a train or coach as instead of telephoning the taxi company, the staff member on reception just pushed a button (bell?) Also, you don't have the option of pre-booking a taxi at this location for some reason as when I asked at Reception prior to going out for dinner with friends the night prior, I was told to just come down in the morning. When I've stayed at other locations, I can always pre-book a taxi so I am unsure as to why I was refused at this one.

We rang on the morning of arrival to see about the chance of a early check in, spoke to a male don't know his name but was very friendly and accommodated our request. The room was clean and they left some biscuits which was a nice touch! Breakfast was great too and staff all looked like they enjoyed working there. Great stay overall!

Myself and my son stayed here overnight on the 26th of Feb. We got checked in early by a lovely lady on the front desk and it was all very quick and efficient (All staff we saw during our stay were friendly, helpful and always said hi) Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the main street. It was spacious, and as usual for a premier inn the beds were lovely and comfortable We could hear the trams going past, but they didn’t keep us awake through the night. Overall I really can’t fault this place, it was convenient for the sights we wanted to visit and only a couple of minutes from the level where my son was going for a gig. We both said we would definitely stay here again. Just to add, a huge thank you to whoever dealt with our booking. We had to change our arrival date twice due to the gig at the level changing dates, and this was done for us with no problems.
