I booked this hotel as it was close the south beach and pleasure beach! It was a wonderful stay from start to finish! Everything was clean and tidy and the hosts were there to greet us on arrival. The hosts were very friendly and always on hand if you needed anything. We were already aware that there was no food or drink allowed in the rooms which we adhered to, apart from bottles of water. It was not a problem for us as we ate and drank as we were out and about! The beds were tidy, clean and comfortable - and although the rooms were small, then the space was well utilised and the personal shower room a great bonus. The walls were thin as mentioned by other people but nothing can be done about the building and it wasn’t too much of an irritant as we all still slept well. Parking was a slight issue but parking at the back of the pleasure beach was reasonably priced and only a 5 min walk away, with free parking there between 8pm and 10am We had a fantastic stay! Thankyou so much!

As I’m an advocate for local businesses thought I’d take a punt and stay at the Tudor rose, wow what a mistake. Honestly worst hotel I’ve even been to. Mattress was like a slap of concrete no give in it would have been better sleeping on the floor. I had to request hot water which took 5 hours to heat up. Then the next day when I said it was off again I was told I showers yesterday what’s my problem like asking for a shower was an inconvenience. Never stay here. Oh and after checking the pat test certificates on the electrical goods they was signed of 7/20 it’s is now 7/23 so what should be 3 month electrical safety certs are being done 3 early.

I’ve just come back from an overnight stay at this hotel with my husband and 2 children. I liked the fact that they didn’t allow hen or stag do’s and it was the cheapest one available as a last minute booking (£240 for 1 night). As it was the cheapest available I wasn’t expecting much, but even then I was disappointed with what we got. If they had charged £50, then that would be about right. There were two double beds pushed up next to each other, I had seen images of two/double rooms and it was nothing like the one we got. All the photos show white bedding with a colourful runner. We got some hideous red/pink based flower design. There is one image of this bedding, but it’s next to a sunny window. We didn’t get that room, ours was more dark/dingey (room 4). The flat screen tv was no more than 15” (if that). The bathroom was tiny and the door didn’t lock. I didn’t even try the shower as the shower head appeared to be tiny and not very clean. The hot tap on the sink turned the wrong way. The bedroom was not very clean (if at all). There was filth along the top of the doorway. I have been watching 4 In A Bed, but I didn’t go looking for the muck, you could just see it. My husband slept on top of the covers as he didn’t fancy getting beneath them. The pillows and mattress felt like they were 20yo and had all life squeezed out of them, other than perhaps the sort you don’t want in your bed. I’ve read some reviews about how spotless the place is, I would have liked to have been in one of those rooms. The only recommendation I have is to avoid this place.

We found this hotel for a last minute get away for a one night stay with our 3 year old, it was absolutely fantastic, the location is great next to the south shore peir, pleasure beach, sandcastle water park and even the wetherspoons is opposite for tea and breakfast lol, the room and hotel was clean throughout, the owners are really nice and cant do enough for you. The hotel was a great price, great night sleep and everything we expected, I would recommend to anyone after a nice clean cheap get away.

This was a budget trip. We didn’t intend to spend much time in the room over our 2 night stay... The Tudor Rose Original came up on booking.com very cheap so I decided to book it. Myself and my 8 year old son were made to feel very welcome. On arrival after checking in I noticed no toilet rolls or towels.... I popped down and it was sorted in a minute. The room was clean and comfortable and much better than expected, great WiFi which my son loved. Comfy bed and hot shower. Travel is my job, being cabin crew you are used to high standards. It’s not 5 Star but this B&B is a budget, very clean and acceptable accommodation. I would definitely return for a short break. I would recommend to friends and family looking for no frills, room only stay in Blackpool.

Just arrived home after a two night stay. No towels or toilet roll in the rooms, however I'm always prepared so we were fine. Nice welcome by the owner he was very polite. He told us that if we're not happy with the room that we could move the day after. We got in the room and it was everything we needed. It was lovely and clean and the bed n pillows were really comfortable. We didn't book in for breakfast. After our first night their the owner came to us on our way out and asked us if we wanted to move, we said no because we were absolutely fine where we were. This just summed up to me that this b n b owner just wanted his guests to have the best experience. I've stayed in some awful places in Blackpool and this is definitely not one of them. Thank you for your hospitality we would recommend.

Came to the Tudor Rose after being let down by a b&b nearby after they messed up our booking and was a disgusting doss to say the least. What a refreshing difference. As a large party 2 adults and 3 small children we didn't think we'd have much hope but stumbled upon this beauty on the off chance for 3 nights. The guy was very welcoming and introduced into his partner-she too was brilliant. They gave is 5* accomadation and service. They both were very calm, lovely & genuinely nice people. Nothing was too much. The hotel itself was very clean and homely. Lovely smelling also. My daughter took a shine to the the lady and she thought she was beautiful inside and out. She was such a gentle, kind and caring soul. Overall a great stay and shall be returning next year. Def recommended.

Comfortable room. average cleanliness. Great location. Breakfast is mostly toast, juice and fruit. 24 hour tram ticket was great, Did a round trip of the whole route. Pleasure Beach is fun, and you can't miss the illuminations (but check what time of year they are lit)

The location of this hotel is great if you want to be close to the pleasure beach (not even a minute walk away) and the casino/water park. It is opposite a wetherspoons which is useful for some. The more lively bars and clubs are at the opposite end of the front meaning trams and taxi's are needed (if staying out late). Despite its location, the hotel is welcoming and very clean with a friendly owner. Bedroom is ok in size yet bathroom is tiny. Breakfast was a let down, continental style but nothing much continental about it - the low costs of the room reflects in the breakfast! Standard 4 slice toaster to be used by all the guests within one hour of breakfast leaves people sat waiting for a long time. Overall, not bad - could be better.
