Very well appointed, comfortable and easy short walk from the station and the historic centre. Booking was simple, email instructions were very good and made our late arrival and access to our room very easy. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and staff were very friendly. Couldn’t fault it for comfort and character and will be recommending it to friends.

Four of us stayed in two rooms here as we were visiting the Christmas Market. We found it perfectly situated for everywhere we wanted to go. The Manager was very friendly and helpful on arrival and the rooms were comfortable. The shower/ bathroom was clean and well maintained, if a little tight, but overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely, well cooked breakfast, although, it was very busy and the poor waitress was run off her feet trying to cope with everything, we ended up having to find our own cups, saucers and cutlery from the sideboard, still, a minor inconvenience. So, all in all, a nice stay at a reasonable price. We shall be returning again. Thank you to all involved.

We stayed for the weekend, me and my friend, for her birthday . Great location just outside the town centre . The room was spotless . shower, not so good, but did the job breakfast wasn't the best, but it was OK. I have had a lot worse . We had a problem with our booking due to booking.com not the b&b fault, and the young guy sorted for us with minimal fuss. All in all, we had a lovely stay

I felt i had to write a review about the recently opened restaurant. It was both excellent service and the meal was superb. I enjoyed the grilled ribeye steak dressed with chimichurri served on a bed of mash potatoes, honeygarlic roasted carrrots with grilled asparagus wrapped in Parma ham. All this for £24, excellent value for money. I shall definitely be returning for seconds !

Staff is friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast (full English) and the pastries are ridiculously delicious. Located off the beaten path but within walking distance of all the “must-see” sites.

This is a charming, characterful B&B. The owner was kind and friendly. The layout is a little unusual, it appears to have been converted from a former small pub and the two adjoining houses. The owners seem to have put a lot of care into making the best use of the space, although those accommodated on the ground floor might find it a little inconvenient in that the doors open immediately into the breakfast room. Our room (at the front, on first floor was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was on the small side but had an excellent shower. The fridge and the fresh coffee and cafetière in the room was a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful. Although not luxurious this friendly guest house is great value for money, and we would definitely stay there again when visiting Canterbury

Wow .. I don’t often write reviews .. this is not like the pictures , it’s dirty . We did not see a member of staff in the 2 days . We had issues getting in ( so did everyone else ) it’s dark and dingy . Problems with heating . I would not recommend .. Canterbury was lovely though .
