Went for a quite weekend as my partner had a Stroke last September. On the Friday night went to the clubhouse and there was a drunk young group behind us that kept calling Bingo when we were playing. Then on the Sunday night there was a loud group down behind us playing music until 3pm and a dog barking. Not a relaxing holiday at all . Accomadation was very good

The caravan was what you would expect for a cheap getaway, it was clean enough and had everything we needed. We had a hottub and they were really on top of cleaning it/ checking chemical levels which was nice to see. The park staff were friendly and helpful, the shop wasn't open when we popped up which wasn't very useful but there's an Asda down the road so it's not too bad. There's a bus that'll take you most places locally (Penzance, St Ives, Hayle) which is really useful.

We have stayed at St Ives Holiday Park several times before without to much of an issue. Staff have always been helpful and very attentive. This time we did have some issues that were not resolved, initially. We had listed these to the staff and it appeared that they did nothing, however at the end of our stay we mentioned the lack of corrective action and it turned out there had been a miscommunication and the wrong lodge number logged. We accept that there can always be issues for one reason or another and it is a mark of how these are responded too, that marks how we feel about returning. Once we had discussed these with the manager of the park and we got to the root of what had happened, we are happy to return and will be doing so again soon.

Good stay really clean silver caravan very modern inside looked new for a silver ? Very quiet on the park not much going on but friendly staff and entertainment on each night plus bingo. Pool was dated but surprisingly warm and friendly staff in there too. Park itself was very pretty only issue is transport there wasn’t any meaning we had to drive everywhere which wasn’t a big deal. Overall would definitely be back!

Hi there, I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us here at St.Ives! There is a local bus service which runs from the park but unfortunately this is does not begin to operate until slightly later in the season. If you are ever on the park when this is operating however, it is a wonderful journey down in to St.Ives and they use an open top bus which is fab! Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We look forward to seeing you again. Best wishes Emily

This was the first day of their opening for the year right before Feb half term and it wasn't good. The boiler leaked when we entered the 'Silver Caravan Lodge', the window in the twin room didn't shut properly as the catches were missing, and our linen hadn't been delivered as promised. Heating and linen was resolved in the end but by then it was 9.30pm and we had all had enough, especially our 2 and 4 year olds. The entertainment team were on training (why send your team on training when you open to the public?!) so one poor chap ran the whole show all evening every evening. He did a great job considering! The next day, we booked to swim. Got to the pool and the changing rooms were being fitted as we stood there - man drilling in the corner and nowhere for us to change. We watched a child jumped in the pool and go into shock from the cold. We dipped our feet and decided it was too cold for our young children. Many of the arcade games didn't work either. I don't know why we needed to buy 'Entertainment passes' as they weren't ever asked for. This was a money spinner I think! The manager was very apologetic about the whole ordeal. She gave us our upgrade price back, £30 on the bar, a bottle of wine and card (for my birthday and probably as she felt sorry for us!) The caravan/lodge was clean and very nice, it was just a shame all these things weren't in place for the opening week. We basically paid for the use of a caravan for a weekend when we expected the full works as advertised.

This is a much loved holiday site for me and my family. We have been coming to this park for a few years, but now we are much more frequent and come twice a year "out of season". The holiday lodges and bungalows are incredible, we have stayed in a variety and all have wowed us. Some come with a hot tub, these are absolutely incredible, we stayed in one on this break and we lived chilling out in the hot tub at the end of the day. All the holidays homes we have stayed in have all been exceptionally clean and tidy, and if there are ever any issues they are very quick to fix the problem. The foxy entertainment staff are very friendly and great with the kids (and adults!), they make sure everyone is entertained. The site staff work tirelessly to make the stay as relaxing and wonderful as possible. From the bar staff to the entertainment team to the manager, Christine - who is absolutely incredible and goes above and beyond to accommodate you and help you as much as she possibly can. The holiday park is well maintained, and is a beautiful place surrounded by woodlands. You can see many squirrels running around and at night you can hear owls and woodpeckers. It's a lovely peaceful park with plenty on offer. There is a swimming pool, which you need to book using the John Fowler App. There is a play area outside and an indoor arcade, which is small, but does have quite a few machines. There entertainment hall is small for the size of the park, so at peak times it does get very busy and is hard to sometimes find a seat - but the team try really hard to find more seating to accommodate people. There is also a small restaurant on site and a small shop. There is a bus service that runs thought here to St Ives, but it only runs for part of the year. Maybe March/April to October. Close by is the beautiful beaches and cobbled streets of St Ives, or the harbour town of hayle. Penzance and St Michael's Mount is also a short drive away, so there is plenty to see and do around, using this park as your holiday home base. I can't wait to come back here again and again, and ai have recommended this site to my friends and family, time and time again. Thank you to the St Ives team for making our stay special!
