I stayed there a couple years ago. The owner and I celebrated my grandsons birthday. It was very special. We were able to view all the buildings on the property. We were both so impressed. We took many photos. Had a professional photographer come over for photos. A fantastic place to stay. The grounds, flowers, etc. Next to none.

basement room with a sibling, very private but no TV so we read - it was a lovely change. the TV only plays their movies so plan on a quiet read or their choice of DVDs. wasn't an issue for us at all.

We went to the rosebud theatre and stayed here on the night of the show, they met us at the door and were very friendly and down to earth, could not have asked for more. When we got back from the show Winston made us tea and we chatted quite awhile before heading to our room. The next morning was no rush to leave, a great breakfast with them. Winston and Carrie were the best. Winston then gave us a tour of the place , he is a amazing wood worker and has a woodshop anyone would want. Staying there was a great part of the weekend, thanks a lot.

It was the first time being at a Bed & Breakfast. And there are no better hosts I can imagine than Winston an Carrie. It was like you're at home and your family is waiting for you. Wonderful breakfast together with them. There's no better beginning of a day. They gave me support regarding my disability and did everything to relief my issues. The only thing you must get used to it is the water. Regarding that this place is located on country side, it is sulfured. But everything is clean and loving cared. So, it's 100 times worth being a guest of them. Thanks Winston and Carrie for your hospitality and I look forward to seeing you again.

This beautifully restored 1909 farm house is located just about 6 miles east of Strathmore just north of highway 3. It is surrounded by fields of canola and wheat. The owners Winston and Carrie are wonderful hosts who made our stay a most pleasant one. They are a very religious couple and will say grace before breakfast. Our room was on the second floor with a queen bed that was very comfortable. We had a toilet and sink in the room. A shower is located in the basement and it was fine. Note that the water here is rich in sulphur so there will be an odor when showering and brushing your teeth. The owners do supply you with bottled water. Winston is a talented wood carver and his workshop is most impressive. Carrie makes a great breakfast and the portions are huge. If you are looking for true peace and quiet, this B&B is the place.…

A really nice alternative to staying in a big chain hotel in Strathmore - rural and quiet. The house was beautifully renovated by the owner and the room nicely decorated.. Winston and Carrie were attentive hosts and overall the experience was very positive. Note that it is a few miles from the town of Strathmore if you are looking for a place to have an evening meal and you can get a Tim Hortons coffee in town for your drive to Calgary.

Whether you’re searching dinosaur bones in the Alberta badlands, or attending the Calgary Stampede; you’ll be comfortable at the Sproule Heritage B&B. It's easy to find this beautifully restored, turn of the century farmhouse, 65 km east of Calgary, and just a quarter mile off Trans-Canada highway #1. We were looking simply for a clean bed, but Winston and Carrie made our visit one of the highlights of our little road trip. They joined us on that veranda for a nice visit the evening we arrived, and we chatted with them well past breakfast the next morning. Winston, something of a master craftsman, did much of the renovation of this home itself, and it’s something to behold. Hardwood is everywhere and the beautiful furnishings and décor appears to be appropriate to the period the home was first built. Most importantly, we enjoyed a really comfy bed and a great breakfast.…
