Jill and Mike and dog Millie welcome you to our home, Pigeon House Cottage. This is an idyllic converted two story Cotswold stone barn with beautiful gardens, set back among Grade 2* listed buildings. We are ideally located for visitors to Cheltenham Racecourse, the regency spa town of Cheltenham with it's many Festivals and the surrounding Cotswold area.

Jill and Mike are very welcoming hosts and the Duck Room is a beautiful accommodation - incredible mattress, duvet and pillows. There are so many lovely little touches here that raise an overnight stay from average to exceptional: cotton buds, pillow spray, hair products, sewing kit, fruit cordial, fresh milk - I could go on! The breakfast was second to none: fresh bread, fresh fruit , homemade jams and marmalade and lovely cooked items too. We stayed here for the proximity to the racecourse but to be honest it’s a beautiful location for exploring Cheltenham and its environs. Thank you Jill and Mike (and thank you so much for the lifts! )

What a fantastic find! The setting was amazing. The rooms were so clean and the attention to detail of everything was fantastic! The breakfast was 10/10, there was a selection of cooked breakfast and all the continental choices too. Will definitely be returning. Thanks again to Jill, Mike and Millie. You were fantastic hosts and we can’t thank you enough for the welcoming stay! Xx

Lovely old cottage with a warm welcome from Jill Mike and dog. The room had everything we needed, just make sure to mind your head on the low beams. Splendid breakfast. Ample parking. An ideal place for a short break with Cleeve Hill a short drive away and Cheltenham race course round the corner.

What a gorgeous find for my stay in the cotswolds. I was there for the races but it’s an ideal base to explore the cotswolds. Jill was super friendly and very helpful. My breakfast was perfect with lovely homemade marmalade. Very comfortable bed and dressing robes provided. I will certainly return next time I am in the area.

Wow what a wonderful weekend we had at pigeon house cottage, Mike and Jill were very welcoming and from the moment we drove into the property we knew we were in for an absolute treat, I had goosebumps. We were greeted by Jill who then made us tea and chocolate brownies, the room was amazing and very spacious bright and clean with beautiful beams, it was a beautiful room and the bathroom was bright and clean with white robes and slippers and gorgeous fluffy white towels everything was spotlessly clean and you were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Breakfast both mornings was amazing and nothing was ever any trouble. We will most certainly be going back, we have also recommended it to friends and also have friends that have already booked for September, you are in for a relaxing beautiful weekend with Mike and Jill in pigeon house cottage. Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality and welcoming us into your home Mike and Jill.

We didn't find what we expected of Cotswolds until we started our stay here. It's located right next to a very old church and barn - and this building (as told by our hosts) also has a long history. Unlike its classic looks from outside, Jill and Mike superbly decorated and refurbished the rooms and dining areas, and have made them both cozy and lovely. We used two rooms - one was quite spacious with a fully equipped bathroom, and the other was medium sized (but enough space for two) and had a smaller bathroom but had a shower booth as well. The hosts are so kind and welcoming, and answered all our trivial questions with sincerity. Would definitely recommend anyone planning to stay near Cotswolds or Cheltenham to pick this place. For some detailed info.. (+): Hotel class amenities, Welcome cookies & chocolate, Waking up to birds' chirps and songs in the morning, Neat tidy comfy beds, Great view and ambience, Cozy, Friendly. Wide selection of breakfast menu - mostly homemade and all delicious. Perfectly managed gardens and rooms. Great restaurant nearby (5 min ride) recommended by the host (The Royal Oak). Hairdryer, Electric kettle, Hot tea and fresh milk, TV, books, local guidebooks all provided in the rooms. (-): Toilet in one of our two rooms had low water pressure and had to try a few times to flush it. Wifi was a bit slow and had weak connection. Other than these problems, everything was just great.

This a wonderful B&B tucked away in a quiet corner of Southam. Our hosts were very welcoming and the room was just right (but watch out tall people for the low beam). Breakfast is a feast of home made bread and jams, cooked breakfast, fresh fruit and/or cereals.
