Liked · Friendly staff, decent breakfast , free parking space. Disliked · Very noisy . Noise coming either from the street or the neighboring rooms. Total lack of insulation. The mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable and the linen -although clean- felt rough and dated. Breakfast was normally served in video-games room !! How awkward ! Thank God ,we could sit outside in the veranda !

Of course there are some coins, but I can count more pros: good breakfast, lake view, nice room, everything works, comfy pillows. No sidewalks at some places near hotel, very loud street, I didn't get additional blanket which I asked.

Loved staying at Azzano holidays. We requested a 2 person room with the double bed separated into single beds so that we didn't have to pay the extra €100 for the larger room, and they were fine with it. A free parking pass for the private parking spaces was provided on request. Breakfast was great - a selection of meat, cheese, pastry, yoghurt, cereal, and spreads. Towels were provided - they were only replaced once during our 5-night stay but that's better for the environment anyway. The view from the room was idyllic. Despite being on the main road we found it to be quiet at night and could sleep well. The internet was not fantastic, and worked intermittently at peak times (i.e. morning around breakfast time and late evening before bed time). The air con worked but was not very strong, so the room did not get very cold even on the lowest setting. These are my only complaints though, and they are minor! The staff were very friendly and accommodating - we arrived late on our first night but it didn't seem to matter. It also rained one morning and the staff provided umbrellas for us to use free of charge. There was an additional €1 per person per night to pay as a tourism tax, which I think applies to all hotels in the area.

A friend found rooms at this small hotel. We loved it! Great location. Breakfast including espresso and cappuccino at the bar was delightful! The cleaning lady was sweet and kept the rooms very clean.

Wonderful B&B: great location, kind staff, lovely rooms with great views and comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious with good variety, and the attached cafe food was great, too. Would highly recommend!

Our 2 night stay at this family owned/run hotel was very nice. Our room was comfortable, clean and I found the bathroom to be well designed. The private balcony was a plus, as well as the blackout curtains. The included breakfast was a superb spread of fruits, yogurt and homemade pastries and the staff was very attentive. The staff spoke ok English and the cafe below was a nice addition to our stay. You must have the pastries and coffee! The only drawback was the location lacked other amenities in immediate walking distance (there is however a grocery store next door). But there are restaurants and shops nearby. Either a very short drive or possibly by foot.

Always a risk booking a hotel for a longish stay (4 days) without having anyone with first hand experience to speak to but this was accommodation that really could not be faulted - especially for the price and to call it a B&B is really a dis-service as many hotels do not offer what this did. The rooms (we had 2 doubles) are situated above a local shop, come bar, come restaurant come, come meeting place (as it was always busy with, what we guessed were, locals). It looks like they are all on the 2nd Floor so just a word of warning to those not so young as it was up two flights of stairs (not an issue for us). Checking in was a doddle - even thought their English is not great - but we all muddled through and they had everything ready for us and showed us to our rooms (separate entrance to the shop) and explained the air con and when and where breakfast was and where we could park the car. We were attending a Wedding Blessing in Lenno and this was not too badly situated with the local tram/train passing quite a few times a day which could take you further up or down the Lake but also it was a nice leisurely walk of no more than 10 to 15 minutes to the busier town of Lenno. The road outside was quite busy but not overly noisy and did not disturb either of us (I guess helped by being on the 2nd floor). Not a lot very locally (couple of restaurants and a small supermarket) but really was not too far to get to other places Rooms were of a very good quality and clean with a modern bathroom and were cleaned/tidied to a high standard every day (it looked like we got fresh towels each day). Both the rooms we had had a small balcony with two chairs which had lovely views across to the Lake and also to the hills behind. Breakfast was very good (room it was served in was a little warm but not overly uncomfortable) with plenty of it. I would say it was a bit more than a continental breakfast - bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, orange juice, cereal, fresh pastries, fresh fruit, tea (yes good old English Breakfast tea) and coffee. We needed to leave early on our final morning and so paid and "checked out" the night before and advised we would be gone before breakfast - so they knew not to cater for us - and when we went to go at 6.30am the following morning each room had a bag with juice, water and a muffin for two. Lovely touch which really made a difference and once again probably would not happen at a big hotel but this family run establishment ticked all the boxes and made our stay in Italy all that more enjoyable

We´re there with the group of friends. Inconspicuous from the outside, from the inside very well and modern equipped. Right on the main lake Como street Via Regina, but a traffic noise in the night. Caffeteria in the house

Don't be put off by its exterior...the room we were given was very very nice, clean and comfortable. It must have been newly refurbished. Breakfast was fine...continental..but that's what you expect in Italy. The cakes and croissants were certainly fresh as they came from their own cafeteria! We asked for a triple room and were given a 4 bed room. We had fresh towels every day and the bathroom was very spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend it as t's good value for money!!!

Upon our arrival, we rang the B&B door and were redirected to a bar next to it (in the same building). The lady at the bar/reception was not particularly friendly, nor did she carry herself professionally (or look professional for that matter). The AC in the room worked terribly. Although after a few hours, the room was finally cool, the AC was super noisy. If it wasn't for the fact that we drove for 5h and spent another 5h on a boat on the lake, I think we would have had a problem falling asleep with such noise. The smell in the bathroom, near the sink, was disgusting...As though there were feces under the sink. We were glad to have only spent one night in the B&B. Next time we go to Como, we will definetely rent a normal hotel room rather than a B&B.
