We stayed here at the start and end of our 3 weeks long Japan trip. Both the semi-double and Queen bed could fit 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child, 7yo). Room was spacious to open up 3 mid sized (27”) luggages at the same time. Location is perfect for travels to Disney and Akihabara. The Tokyo Subway Hatchobori station is the one that is nearest to the hotel, followed by the JR Hatchobori station. Be mindful that there’s no lift or escalator for the Tokyo Subway Hatchobori, so you’ll need to carry your luggages up & down stairs. JR Hatchobori is the one to go to Disney… but if you transfer from Tokyo station, need to walk for about 450m to get to Keiyo line. We pushed our luggages slowly to Tokyo Station Yaesu side (abt 20mins) and took the Narita Express bus (¥1300) at #7 to save us from the ups and downs of train.

We stayed with them for 09 nights in October 2023. It was surprisingly good and we'll definitely return again. - Front Desk staff were very helpful and nice, only to note that they don't really speak English and some times it's quite a chore to communicate. - Housekeeping does a very good job in cleaning our room and provides us with all the amenities needed - Self Service Launderette was really affordable and crowded on most nights. It does need some maintenance and cleaning as our clothes are always full of furs and lint.. - Restaurant serves decent food and reasonable priced. We dined there a few times and loved it. Our room comes with 2 double bed and could comfortably fit 2 adults & 2 toddler. Only thought was ceiling height was a little low, unsure if this is the norm in Japan or just this hotel. WiFi was good just in case you want to know :)

Only stayed one night but the great service left an impression 👍 Popped by early in the morning to drop off luggage. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Asked if it'd be possible to get a room with twin beds instead of double bed. Receptionist said they'd try but no guarantee as it depended on availability. Came back for check-in in the afternoon, and was very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a large room with twin beds. This hasn't happened to me at other hotels in Japan. Wonderful experience. Kudos to the staff for prioritising customer experience even for a one-nighter.

Well located hotel, a short walk from Tokyo station or you can take the subway which is even closer. If you plan on using the Shinkansen then this is a great place to be. Many amenities nearby including three kombinis and a well stocked grocery store. Rooms were quite big and the front desk staff very helpful. The neighbourhood is quiet and upscale with fancy stores and restaurants just moments away.

I stayed here for a couple of nights on the way home from a business trip in the US. The hotel is centrally located so you can walk to many places, it is also close to the Hatchobori metro station making it easy to traverse the city. The rooms are small but comfortable and very clean, ideal for many types of trips from business to leisure, I will be back with my family.

I stayed 10 nights at the hotel, the rooms are very big, I was in the DLX room and in the standard room, they are both well equipped, beds are very comfortable, lots of amenities ad very good one, the breakfast is a buffet very good. The hotel is closed to Jr train line which makes it comfortable to go around Tokyo, and only 10-15 minutes walk from Tokyo station. I really recommend this hotel.

Stayed here during my holiday in Japan. I was with my 2 daughters sightseeing in Tokyo. This was a great hotel close to Hatchobori metro and JR line. You can get to anywhere easily. Plenty of shops nearby. Cannot comment on places to eat because I am vegetarian so there was very few places I could eat in Japan. Breakfast was good plenty of fruit cereal, hash browns, pastries poached eggs and meat options. Get down there early because as the morning goes on they don't replenish everything. Staff all lovely and rooms nice. 15 mins walk to Tokyo station for Bullet train and Narita airport express. We took the train to Kamakura which was lovely an hour away. Beautiful shrines and Buddha well worth a visit. Disney 30 minutes from Hatchobori JR station. We also went on Bullet train to Kyoto which was amazing. All in all would recommend this hotel for exploring Tokyo and beyond.

We only spent our first night here, but it was great. The staff were so accommodating when our plans changed, and very responsive over email. WiFi was solid, room bigger than expected. We also found it easy to catch the bus to the main station. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice 4 nights stay in the twin queen bed room 24m square, good size room in Ginza. Subway Hatchobori is only across the street, easy access to Disney, Haneda and nearby Ginza, Tsukiji. Staffs are friendly and there are many free toiletries, lotions, green tea at the lobby. Only setback was surrounding hotel has very few restaurants bars that opens till late night.

There are 3 of us for this trip and we have decided to choose Hotel Sardonyx Tokyo since we read all the good comments from others in TripAdvisor. Unlike most of other hotels in Tokyo, the room is fairly big for the 3 of us and for 3 big luggages. It’s clean and comfortable. The location is also good, just 1 stop from the Tokyo Station. Surrounding is more quiet compared to the other busiest hotels in Tokyo which we normally stayed before. Hence, we liked it very much, not crowded like in other places. Nearby this hotel, we can find many restaurants and convenient stores. Front Desk people are very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a very good stay in this hotel and will definitely come back to stay here whenever we have another opportunities to visit Tokyo.
