This place is a total find and the photos don't show how amazing it is. The décor is perfect - and the views out of this world. Styled with a true eye for style, this place couldn't be more comfortable. I totally recommend staying here.

Couldn't wish for anything more. Funky, comfortable, extremely well appointed, incredible view. Lyn and Kirk have thought of everything one may need to unwind, relax and enjoy a fabulous time away from home....and that view! We will be back in a flash!

We stayed here for a night with our young children and loved it. A cozy little place with Magic veiws. The beds were comfortable and lovley linen. We loved soaking in the spa after spending a day exploring the local wineries. Will be back

I booked two nights at Northern Aspects for Valentines Day because it happened to be one of the few places still available at such short notice (less than one week before V day!). Because the house wasn't in demand, I was worried this meant it wouldn't be a great place to stay but I was pleasantly surprised! My partner and I turned up and fell in love with the views straight away! The spa was already heated for us when we arrived and we really loved the feel of the house and the wildlife in the backyard in the mornings. It was furnished nicely, very private and had romantic views of the coastline. I was also really touched when the lady who owned the place texted me to make sure we had arrived safely after driving through stormy weather, so that set a great tone to the weekend. We had a really nice time away - staying at Northern Aspects was much more enjoyable and intimate than any hotel we've ever stayed at. Although the house appears simple from the front when comparing it to some of the really flash houses on the same street (which were also much more expensive to hire when I checked), once you're inside it's amazing. We had so many activities planned but didn't end up doing most of them because we didn't want to leave the house! If you do plan on watching a lot of TV I'd bring some DVDs or look at hiring some movies to watch up there, but we don't watch a lot of TV so this wasn't an issue for us. I plan on going back again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for couples, especially if you both just want some time to de-stress!

A brilliant view of the bay..elegant but understated and comfortable furnishings made this a delightful getaway. Everything was clean and ready for our stay and the service and any communication was friendly and helpful. Everthing was in order and pretty simple to use and operate. The kids loved the spa. .and then the parents later in the evening. Will stay again.. you cant but love the peninsula.

This place has a stunning view and big TV screen, also got a nice $50 breakfast voucher for our return, apart from that almost everything is ancient and poorly maintained. Spa was a torture, too hot and you can't change its temperature and too much chlorine which caused us skin irritation that stayed long after we left :( When complained, nobody managed to fix it. Heaters are too slow to warm up the place. We spend about 3 hours on the 2nd night with no heating and kids had to go to bed in the cold cause ancient power board broke and had to get RACV emergency to fix it after midnight. No dishwasher. Property wasn't well cleaned on our arrival. This place has a lot of potential if it was to be looked after by owners.

Clean, fresh and elegant house. Everything working. No issues at all. Comfortable bed and could have stayed longer. The place was perfect for a getaway with gorgeous styling and a lovely vibe. Small touches like fresh bread on arrival really made our stay. Loved it.

This property has stunning views of port Phillip bay! The outdoor jacuzzi is also a highlight. Heated on arrival, a very relaxing way to start the weekend. Although set back from the full view, the jacuzzi offers privacy and is shielded from the wind. The king sized master bed was super comfortable and heating throughout the property was good. We had a fantastic weekend away from the huddle and bustle of life. Clean and tidy property with a view you cannot get enough of. Will definitely be coming back! This view is worth every cent!

There are great views at this place. I also found the bed & pillows very comfortable. The general state of the place, however, doesn't justify the cost, in my opinion. For $650 charge for 2 nights (on a Thursday and Friday at end of Feb) we got a broken dishwasher, spa not working on arrival (when I complained, someone came & fixed it so it was able to used by day 2), stale "breakfast provisions" (home brand muesli, all bran and just right, an opened small carton of UHT milk with an expiry date of the day of arrival' some small chocolates/vegemite / jam packs that had passed their used by date). No bread or sugar and tea bags/ coffee stale. We went out and bought some stuff to use ourselves. Towels and linen are very average and mismatched (like you'd have yourself if you had a weekender, not the type you usually get at expensive hotels). Lots of light bulbs were not working. Oven was filthy and grout in bathroom was mouldy in spots. The music player wouldn't work (flat battery?). I was promised a new battery would be dropped by but nothing came. Owner offered me a free night if I come back! I'd rather a return of some of the money I had to pay in advance, but this request has met with no response,..... Surprise, surprise. Lounge is quite worn/ dirty and some walls a bit dirty/ marked too. The place needs some maintenance & care. I would have rated worse than 2, but the view was rather special. Can't recommend it though - suggest you try elsewhere! Very disappointed overall as we were looking forward to a special end to a week of staying in cabins in caravan parks. Surprisingly, the caravan parks were cleaner, better stocked and maintained. Will go and give them a good review!

The accommodation was clean and had a great view from the living area. The kitchen was fully equipped and bread, cereal, coffee, sugar, milk and butter were provided, making it easy to cook and eat there. The bedroom has newer furniture than the pictures but it looks like they're going for an antique feel which seemed a bit dated. The kitchen and bathroom were fairly tired which was disappointing for the price we paid. The outdoor Jacuzzi was one of the reasons we stayed and it was all set up and heated for our arrival, but it's set back from the end of the balcony and the view which was a shame. Overall the place seemed a lot more like someone's holiday house than a romantic luxury getaway place. The towels in particular, which were worn and old, definitely need to be updated. I also suggest that if bread is going to be provided, it would be great if it was sliced or at least big enough to not get lost in the toaster.
