I am a TCU alum that has been coming to Mountaineer Field every other year since 2016 with my daughter to watch TCU play the Mountaineers. The fans are loud and vocal in supporting their WVU and definitely makes it challenging for opposing teams on the field. With that said - The WVU fans have always shown love and respect to me and my daughter attending the games. For the 2022 game - I was given drinks and offered food from WVU fans tailgating while we were sitting in the car at stadium parking. While walking to the stadium in our purple and well marked “TCU” clothing - we received numerous “welcome to Morgantown” greetings. As an Army veteran - I salute for the star spangle banner. In the 2nd quarter of the game - I get a tap on my shoulder from a WVU fan who gives me a beer and says, “thank you for your service.” The WVU fans are remarkable people that have provided fantastic experiences for my family attended games here. Due to the kindness shown at Mountaineer Field - I am a big WVU supporter when they are not playing TCU. Great fans and people in Morgantown and West Virginia.

We love going to the Farmer’s Market in Morgantown. It’s so well ran. They have so many amazing local farms and vendors. The staff is always super nice and friendly. I tell all my friends about the market.

Excellent facility. Well run event. The facilities are state of the art and the parking lot is well designed.

This is a cool area of trails on the campus of WVU. It was lush and shady, with a few spots that get pretty close to the river. The trails are well marked, but like everything in Morgantown, there are a lot of steep and narrow parts.

Great Atmosphere. I recommend taking a shuttle to game due to parking challenge. The food was good and everyone was very friendly.

Went to this children museum with our grandson. Cost $5 each. Various things to do for small 4 1/2 old. About 1 hour total.
    Small but all things worked.

While visiting Morgantown recently my family and I were able to make extensive use of the system of rail-trails in the area, including the Deckers Creek trail, the Monongahela River trail, and the Caperton trail, which all converge downtown. They are wide, generally flat, and paved, at least within a few miles of town. (The Deckers Creek trail becomes gravel surfaced 3 miles out.) Mostly scenic. A great way to get around. Possibly the best feature of Morgantown.

Nice, small museum. You have to reserve timed tix, which are free. Be sure if you select the first time of the day you don't try going in any earlier, they did not let us until the exact time of opening. It is very small, but there are some nice things to see, its very clean and we enjoyed the visit. One small suggestion, would love a room with maybe some student art? Student at the desk said they switch out the collections each semester.

The Metropolitan theatre is on High Street with the Don knott's statue and star out front. This is a Grand Old theatre and nice to see it restored

This place would have a much more amazing view if there weren’t so much “progress” built up around it on all sides. One part of the view is a trailer park, one part is storage units and piping and the other is a housing development. Morgantown progress has ruined this view. The park has small bathrooms and there is some parking. The pavilion area doesn’t really have any fantastic views. This place was much better before they started cutting down all the trees and building trailer parks and storage units around. It is one way in and one way out right off the main road. I grew up on this property so it’s upsetting to see how much natural beauty is gone. The history of the place is pretty awesome though. Look up the story about the red headed man and stories of native Americans on the river. This was a hot spot during the American Revolution. Although, you wouldn’t know it now because there aren’t any history markers or anything on site.
