- DIANE P2 contributionsWas a nice museum. A little bit hard to find. The presentations were good and understandable. The hunley was a little hard to see in the tank.Written February 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marco SRineyville, KY152 contributionsThe wife & I visited on Oct. 3, 2023 and had a nice time. They have about 15-20 restored fire trucks that are really amazing to see. They have done a beautiful job in getting these trucks restored, especially the old steam powered ones. They really are a thing of beauty to see, trust me. I nudged my wife and said I’m thankful we don’t have to polish all that brass and chrome on the trucks at my department, it would take hours. I only wish they had more older equipment on display to see. If your a firefighter of any kind and in the North Charleston area you should definitely stop by and check it out, and do t forget to bring your departments patch because if they do t already have it on display they will put it up.Written October 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kirke WReisterstown, MD3 contributionsWe dropped in the sample some of their beers. I had a specialty beer called the Thirst Murderer, a Kolsch style beer, brewed with Peach and Marshmallow flavor-really good and m daughter got one the flavored seltzers. We didn't get any food, as we were going to be eating dinner somewhere else, but what we saw other tables getting foodwise, looked very appetizing. The only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars was that our server had a pissy attitude, not just towards us, but towards everyone. We hope to return for more of their beers and to try the food in the future.Written January 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ltspadaPortland, OR44 contributionsThere are lots of things to do for the whole family. The lazy river is slow moving and perfect for those that do not want anything extreme. The wave pool is fun to immerse and enjoy the waves. There are single rider slides and multiple rider tube slides. There is a slide where you lay on your stomach in a mat and go down what equates to a big hill. Lots of concessions with things like ice cream, sodas and even meals. There is a cool play structure with slides for the smaller visitors. At the end of the season there is a dog day.Written September 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- MeyganCox0450 contributionsIt was too cold for us to play putt putt or to race go karts, but my husband and I enjoyed the arcade. I wish there were more claw machines to win prices and I would love to see a laser tag be added!Written April 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jack SCharleston, SC265 contributionsHaven't been to an Arena Concert since Menudo was a thing. "Sabes a Chocolate" y No Te Reprimas still make me swoon.
So when my wife suggested that we see Jackson Browne & James Taylor, (YES, they're still ALIVE!) I made sure I didn't have any other pressing engagements that day, like a Dental Deep Cleaning or a Colonoscopy.
Made her happy and bought 2 tickets to see these two relics of the "sensitive songwriter" genre. Luckily the nosebleed section was pretty affordable.
Once we'd arrived at the Coliseum, (parking was a breeze), we made our way into the venue surrounded by shuffling, limping, oldsters (like us), some with canes and walkers.
For a minute, I thought we'd gotten our dates wrong and were attending an Oral Roberts Faith Healing event. I hoped he could heal my wonky knee.
Made our way to our seats and watched as hundreds of concert goers struggled gamely to ascend the steep stairs, stopping every now and then for a hit from their portable oxygen units.
How old was the audience? Many of them had their great grandchildren drive them to the show and the usual concert scent of Acapulco Gold was now replaced by Ben Gay and Penetrex.
The next thing we noticed was HOW FRIGGING COLD it was in the Arena! I swear I could see my breath. I know they play hockey here, but this was ridiculous. I actually considered going to the T-shirt kiosk and see if they had any Jackson Browne Snuggies or James Taylor hand-warmers for sale.
Then the lights dimmed and a gnarly looking old roadie took the stage. I asked my wife who he was and she replied "Jackson Browne you twit!" Wow. Guess I hadn't kept up with his career over the years. (James Taylor looked pretty ancient too - but gosh, they're both 73! and in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
GREAT SHOW. GREAT SOUND. GREAT MEMORIES.
It was a truly memorable event with both artists sounding almost as good as they did in their prime, but with a lot less hair. Just remember to bring your winter coat.Written November 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
