What travelers are saying
- torpdoDes Moines, IA557 contributionsWhat an amazing piece of architecture. I have noticed this shrine from driving on I-80 and finally decided to stop. There were many cars in the parking lots so it is a place to see. This is a great place to commune with nature and your higher power. There is a pathway that can be traversed depicting the stations of the cross (I didn't do the walk). The views are spectacular. The water flowing through the stone walkway and in the shrine is a unique feature.Written September 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cello12345Urbana, IL556 contributionsWe stopped at this mall on a whim, after our visit to the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum nearby. This is by far the fanciest outlet mall I've ever seen - well landscaped and well populated. We didn't see any vacancies at all.Written July 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ellie SOmaha, NE254 contributionsWe skipped the last 2 yrs of coming and amazed to see how much where added in between those times in out last visit recently. Yes its expensive but its so worth it when you spent more than 4 hrs there. Buy online to save a few bucks.

They enjoyed it as well and liked looking at the faces of the sculptures. It is awe inspiring and feels as if you are in the scenes with Jesus and the people. This is our third time going and we will continue to go. It is a wonderful experience and I can't recommend it enough!Written September 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lydia GWarrenton, MO254 contributionsI'm guessing this place has been recently updated and remodeled, we went there with my daughter and our two grandsons. They have a pass (it is not free) so they have been going often. The 3 and 5 year old absolutely love it! There are aquariums with fish, turtles and frogs. Some taxidermy animals, a craft section, reading section, some video-type things to do (build a fish), a bird watching area and a indoor play area with a tent set up. It was raining so we didn't explore the outside. We spent a couple hours here and the kids wanted to go back the next day! - Robert BPlattsmouth, NE513 contributionsA wonderful State Park along the valley of the Platte River that provides amazing views in the drive there. The bottom area provides a place to stop and have a picnic, feed some fish and check out a "archaeological" area. It also provides some great hiking trails. They provide 2 trails that can be combined to give you a nice 2 mile hike. The trail follows down to a cool suspension bridge and you can get down into the creek area and explore the rocks. The trip back takes you through the forest to a high area of pine trees. They also have a nice playground and picnic pavilion up the hill as well. Take a moment on your road trip and stop and visit this amazing place.Written January 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
