- Retired_BoaterHarrison Township, MI137 contributionsI have enjoyed shopping at the Macomb Mall since the early 60’s when it had all outdoor stores. They changed it to all indoor stores which made shopping much nicer in the winter. I am one of a number people who walk there year-round for exercise since it is clean, temperature controlled and there are always interesting things going on. If you like organized exercise, a Local hospital (St. John) has a walking group and they offer blood pressure checks for walkers.
They have lost their anchor stores (Sears was always our primary stop, but their large building is being broken up and smaller stores are filling in). The mall now has a good variety of stores and they even have a play area for kids (for a fee).
For a while the mall seemed to be in trouble. For a college class I surveyed the Mall since there were a number of vacant stores and not a lot of customers. Today I would be reporting on the mall as a success story with few vacant stores and new places to grab a bite. I am glad it seems to have found a new life.Written September 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They have playground equipment and toddler and regular swings. They have grills, a picnic shelter and picnic benches. They have a small enclosed resting facility for both women and men. A nice size parking lot. they have a basketball court but there are no longer hoops. All in all, a nice park but not too much shade.Written August 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- fsophia1313Denver, CO724 contributionsOllie's is a great place to grab a deal, or find a gem that you never heard of. I found a package of air purifying bags for $4.99. I am not sure how these should be used, but it was a unique find. I also found a large package of protein drinks for $8.99 that had 30 grams of protein at 170 calories per carton. The favors varied from vanilla to chocolate, but all appeared to contain milk. Not great for IBS, vegans or lactose intolerant people. I also had great conversations with the staff, shoppers and a homeless man named Jo-Jo outside of the store. I helped him, and then bought him some items. I had a great shopping day!Written August 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BenzinowDetroit, MI51 contributionsThe skate rink was clean, everything seemed to be in great shape! We went early on a weekday because we like to skate on a mostly clear floor but we really got bored to death by the music, it was all slow R&B songs. When we skate we like dance music. There were less than 20 people in the building, we requested two songs and neither one got played. I'm almost considering bringing headphones next time and just jamming to my own tunes.Written June 28, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
