I highly recommend this museum. It really brings the period alive. Anyone who wants to understand Italian history in the 20th century needs to visit. It was a superb experience. Not to be missed. Our guide was very informative.

Stayed nearby (Borgo Conde Wine Resort) and checked "what to do in Forli" and found this place - had to visit! We were the only car in the car park and were very well welcomed (Italian spoken only). We were asked to start in the "souvenir" shop (who buys a baseball capp with Il Duce face on the front? and then taken to a house where we were introduced to a very old lady who was one of Il Duce's lady soldiers - yes really! The tour around the house was one of those iconic places which I doubt I will every forget. Yes, definitely worth a visit - all part of our history.

of all my travels in Italy, this one blew my mind the most. The sheer history in one place. You can really get to know the MAN known as Mussolini and his family, not a caricature or a historical figure. You can see love for those he cared for and vice versa, from gifts from the Japanese Emperor Hirohito to statues built that were obviously meant to be in museums in the future, but are instead kept in this one villa. It's kind of sad that history can't be looked at through unbiased eyes but there's something great about all of it being at this one place. It comes highly recommended.

A time travel journey on the family life of the most important figure of Italy's twentieth century. The ticket is only 1p euros, there is a gadget shop full of interesting items and a lovely old family friend, 80 years old, to guide you through the historical building and Mussolini's untold stories about his personal life.

The house where Mussolini lived with his family is a must-see for all history enthusiasts. You will need to book a place on an informative group tour which might be all in Italian. The house is pretty much as it was when his wife lived there with lots more items and photos of significance. The emphasis is on Il Duce as a family man and the good he did for Italy and Italians, not on the negatives.

I was visiting the location during an italian roadtrip after our visit at Predappio. Excellent place full of history and a great ability learn about the Duce.

The Lady there speaks only italian but we managed to see and learn quiet a lot.

US Guys: Do not forget to ask for the picture with Walt Disney.

Japanese: Ask to see the great lava stone of Kaiser Hirohito.

Germans: Dont miss to see the Fiesler storch used by Otto Skorzeny to free the Duce from Gran Sasso.
