Joined the 10 days Medusa package. Everything went smoothly despite some hiccups such as the 2 days ferry cancelation. We were left stranded at the port on the second day of cancelation. Greca should have checked and instructed the driver to wait until we board. Nevertheless Greca did call after we already proceeded back to the hotel on our own. We also missed our ferry ride to Santorini from Mykonos because Greca did not informed us of the change of schedule and it was the only departure for the day. Our itinerary on Santorini was upset however Greca did reschedule our tours. No representative was present to advise us on the day of departure. Although arrangements were made to book accomodations and transfers including the next morning ferry ride, I feel we should have been compensated for a day lost in Santorini through no fault of ours. Greca needs to improve on their communications. The master voucher states that the supplier will call the evening before the next morning transfers to confirm the pick-up time but most of the time we had to call. I would have given Greca a 5 stars if not for this hiccups.

Firstly, we would like to tell you that we are very glad to know that everything went smoothly on your trip. Indeed, your ferry was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. However, on that date, passengers could choose between taking a plane or waiting for the next ferry. We see in our files that your group decided to wait for the ferry, which unfortunately left later than expected, due to (as previously stated) the weather conditions. Therefore, no passenger was left stranded. In addition, it is important to point out that all passengers were notified of the ferry cancellation, as soon as the cruise company made the announcement. I wanted to take my wife and two late-teenage granddaughters on a trip to Greece to experience the culture, history, and ruins. Greca recommended the Celestyal Cruises' tour of the Aegean Sea that included stops in Macedonia, Turkey, and four Greek Islands. Having to deal with two teenagers with no real overseas travel, we had to answer a lot of questions from them, some that resulted in changes. The sales team at Greca, responded to my emails (and there were many) quickly, concisely, and clearly enough for me to understand - and "always" answered my questions. When they say they are available 24 hours, they are. They are also an honorable company that is willing to provide valid refunds when appropriate, e.g., when the Cruise cancelled a land excursion that we prepaid through them, Greca immediately filed a refund with our credit card company. I highly recommend Greca for planning travel in their region, and will do so myself for future trips.

Greca's operations and customer service, particularly in Athens, leave a lot to be desired and in need of massive improvement. We booked a tour of the Greek Islands, Athens, Mykonos and Santorini through Greca from September 1 through 14. Our booking contract called for a transfer from the airport to the hotel. No Greca representative met us at the Athens Airport when we arrived. After numerous and frantic calls to the contact number provided, they finally sent a taxi to pick us up. I would say that the transfers from the hotel in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini to the ferry ports went without a hitch. However, when we arrived from Santorini to Athens on the last leg of our trip, no representative met us at the Port of Piraeus, so we ended up taking a taxi to our hotel. I have written to Victor, a Greca representative to be reimbursed for my taxi expenses and so far the response

I had booked both the mamma Mia tour and the full day Alonnisos cruise. The mamma Mia tour was as expected and a good experience however the cruise was not running the week I booked it and had no contact from Greca explaining this until AFTER the day I was meant to sail despite receiving an email of confirmation. Wasted my time and the final day of my trip. Super disorganised and customer service was awful - my refund took almost a month to receive and couldn’t get hold of anyone to check the trip was on prior despite emailing and calling.

Would not recommend just book through the individual tour providers and skip this travel agency

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Greca travel agency. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. Our pick-up transportation was not available, leaving us stranded. We had to reach out to Greca for assistance, and they arranged an Uber to take us to our hotel. Throughout our trip, we encountered numerous issues with our transportation, which was supposed to be provided by Greca. This led to multiple frustrating calls to the agency for help.

To make matters worse, the hotels listed on our itinerary did not match the actual accommodations we were provided. One particular hotel that we were assigned to at the last minute was absolutely horrendous. The walls were dirty, and we even had to share our room with lizards. It was an unacceptable experience. When we brought this to the attention of Greca, they insisted that we pay for a different hotel, the one that was originally included in our itinerary. This meant that we had to pay extra for something that was supposed to be arranged and paid for in advance. To add insult to injury, we did not receive any refund for the inconvenience and poor service.

Not only did Greca fail to inform us about the last-minute change in our hotel, but their customer service was also incredibly disappointing. I had to make numerous calls to them, resulting in a significantly higher phone bill. And the long wait times on hold only added to my frustration. I cannot express enough how let down I am by this entire experience.

It is worth mentioning that this was my second experience with Greca. My first encounter with them in Greece was quite positive, and they did a good job. However, this recent trip to Italy has left me deeply dissatisfied. Despite my disappointment, I have not received any form of compensation, and I will provide updates on the situation. For now, I have decided not to use Greca for any future travels and cannot recommend their services.

Dear Matthew, First and foremost, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused by the lack of pick-up transportation upon your arrival and the subsequent challenges with transportation throughout your trip. Nevertheless, when facing this inconvenience we did answer in a in a timely and prompt manner, providing a refund and an Uber. Regarding the discrepancies with the hotel accommodations, we are sorry for the experience you had at one of the hotels, but you never told us about any issue with the hotel, especially not at all about any unexpected roommates. I wonder why you did not communicate this situation in any of our numerous calls and emails. I insist, this situation was not communicated to Greca. The change of hotel was BEFORE the tour (and a refund was indeed provided), so it seems difficult to us that you knew the condition of the room beforehad. Furthermore, we are disappointed to hear that your experience with customer service was not satisfactory. We keep low on-hold times, and we will do our best to reduce them even before 2 minutes (our current strict standard). We are investigating this matter thoroughly to prevent similar issues in the future. Regarding your phone bill, we are still waiting for you to send us the listing of your phone bill so we can refund it. Your feedback is invaluable, and I assure you that we take it seriously. We are committed to addressing these issues promptly and making significant improvements to ensure that such experiences are not repeated. The 7 day/6 night Aegean Tour was amazing, due to the companies which serviced the tour: G.O. Tours and Celeystal Cruises. As for Greca Travel Co, even though on the surface they seem helpful and knowledgeable, one soon comes to realize they are not.

1: They advertise booking through them, tours/excursions are cheaper. It is not. Here is an excerpt from an email I received after they charged me €59 extra on an excursion, “We do not have access to the cruise company`s prices, as we work together but we are two separate companies.” If this is the case, how can they advertise the tours/excursions are cheaper through them. Customer Service refused to refund me the extra €59 or come to a compromise.

2: They are unaware of changes in partner policies. In this case, Celeystal Cruises. They adamantly and repeatedly told us that Celeystal Cruises policy on the antigen test was 24 hours prior to embarkation. However, according to Celeystal Cruises customer service representative, embarkation papers and representatives at the port, it is 48 hours. Even after I repeatedly informed the Greca Travel representative, I spoke to Celeystal Cruise directly, Greca rep told me I was wrong.

3: Greca Travel did not leave instructions with the front desk of the hotel or have a representative there to give us information on the trip. It is by chance, when we were leaving the hotel for a walk, a representative came to the hotel looking for us.

I’m not saying do not use Greca Travel. However, be weary of their policies and practices. I suggest contacting the servicing companies and comparing options.

Regarding the tour that you booked with us, it shows in our files that you first called the cruise company to enquire about it, and they advised you to contact us. We see that you were assisted by one of our agents and the booking was successful. However, as you informed us, we later became aware that the cruise company offered you the same excursion, for a different price. We partner with them, but we are two different companies. We do not have the information that they handle, so we do not know which tours they offer, nor their prices. Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback, since it helps us improve our services. Company is awful. Charged me $340 for a hotel I saw advertised for as low as $41 and as high as $140.
Their rep on the ground told me to exchange my dollars for Egyptian pounds on the first day and the whole country wanted dollars after that.
I prebooked tours with them and they didn’t say when in the trip they were, they day my trip started they tell me the tours I booked were later on and I must book all these other overpriced tours. I ended up cancelling the ones I prepaid for because we were exhausted getting up ag 1am, 2am, 3am the whole time - something else they don’t tell you. They say on their website “refreshing breakfast” when they book you a 3 am pick up and give you a box of bread to take on your way.
It was honeymoon hell for me and my wife and the worst planned trip I even took - do it on your own.
I told the company about the experience and they said they could’ve done something different if I told them while I was there - but I did. I told their agency representative that was communicating to us on their behalf and he did the bare minimum. We rebooked our hotel our last night for a place that was half the price and it was laughably more comfortable and cleaner and really an amazing hotel. So it’s not like there aren’t nice places. This agency just charged us an insane premium.

Booked a trip through them for travel next May/June. They were very responsive and prompt replies to emails until we cancelled. Emails went unanswered. I called was told I had to deal specifically with the person who booked by trip, then was hung up on. Then was given the run around that they had to verify the cancellation of flights first - no flights were ever booked with them. I finally just filed a dispute with my credit card company. The lack of response and not doing what they advertise - 100 percent refund until 30 days prior. Beware!!!

On the contrary, we tried to give you an answer right away, however it was explained to you we had a process and it was going to take a few days for the accounting department to proceed with the reimbursement. Usually being an international transaction and different people and financial establishments are involved, the operation takes a week or so. Although it was not the answer you wanted to hear at the moment, every mail you sent us was responded to and it only took longer when we were out of the office. I hope you understand this as any office has certain hours of operation. In the end we are glad that your refund was received 10 days after contacting us, and we remain at your disposal in case you have any further questions. Absolutely awful!!! No communication. They mucked up 3/4 of our holiday, we have spent more time on the phone with them than travelling. They gave us the wrong itinerary and have NOT been helpful at all!! Don't waste your money on this, it is soooooooo not worth it!!! Even they price point, you'll spend more time stressed out and waiting for your "excursions" (that won't happen) than you will exploring! You're better off researching Athens/Greece and organizing it yourself! Do not do this if you want a stress free holiday that's is fun!

"2" Stars ONLY because half of the tour was handled by another company. "Go Tours" was professional all the way. Greca Travel's part was my worst experience. With 2 months notice of my arrival flight info change email, I arrived near midnight In Athens to find no one there to pick me up. A service I paid Greca Travel tp provide. I was told to take a cab and remit the receipt for a refund. Greca Travel finally emailed me that they were working on this with there provider, so stand by. Why? I paid Greca for a service that was not provided, argue with your provider on your time, send me my money back now. The voucher mentioned free breakfast for 3 days in Athens. At the hotel I'm informed breakfast is severed from 7:30 -9:00am. Two of the three days I was asked to be at the pick up point at 7:35am so obviously I got no meal two of the three mornings in Athens. Would never use again. Greca Travel EARNED "0" stars.
