I almost let some of these reviews put me off visiting Hounslow Heath for the first time, but I’m so glad I didn’t! Even in early November there’s so much to see. Bright red fruit on hawthorn, blackberries still with a few blossoms, a lovely old oak tree and Sussex cattle grazing in their own field. The council and the volunteers are doing a great job of looking after this historic remnant of what was once a vast heathland. I will be visiting again in the future as I want to see it throughout the seasons.

The place is full of dodgy guys. There are no changing station for toddlers. Not good at all for anyone sober.

Large green open space supposedly linked to stories of Dick Turpin and highway men. It is a nature reserve, with a reasonable population of adders, although they are very hard to find and see.
No toilet facilities and it does not feel very safe as it is just such a vast area with no staff on site.
Apparently it is very popular with drug users, alcoholics and doggers come sundown!

This is a perfect place to take your dogs for a great walk. There is plenty of space from the green which you can take you dog to run and play if they love their balls. Or you can take them down the long path and wonder off into the woodlands which has amazing views and can definitely spend a lot of time there.
I have been lucky enough to have spotted huge rabbits/hares, Bawean deer and foxes. But its important that you don't disturb them and put your dog on a leash if they would likely chase them.
You see lots of people doing exercises in this park (running, aerobics workouts, walking).
The only part that is disturbing is some people not picking up their litter or having a handful of men that pop to the Green to relieve themselves and not caring that there people around.

Plenty of open space to play, lots to see even though it is near main roads and residential places, doesn't seem so.

I've been to this park a few Sunday mornings to walk my dogs absolute chaos trying to park or get out of the car park.
The sign says psrking for visitors to Hounslow Heath only.
You get the thousands of people going to the mosque across the road with their cars double park. I got blocked in I couldn't get out I had to wait 40 minutes shouldn't be allowed

Truly dog friendly and has nature areas which are nice. The only problem occurs in the summer when there seems to be a whole community of drunk immigrants who live there. We complained about this to the local Police Officer who already knew but didnt want to deal with it.

Hounslow heath has reduced in size over the decades and from 4000 acres to now 200 acres. The area is open all year round and has heath areas and some flowers and shrubs, and many walj there dods here. There is a huge car boot sale on Sundays very close by.
