A husband and wife winery that is also a museum with either a guided or self guided tour. It’s obvious that they know what they’re doing and talking about. My wife and I enjoyed this place very much. Their wine was tasty and they went into detail on how it was made and where the grapes came from. We recommend.

we went here for my daughter's birthday with her friends. Frederic is an absolute gem: a multi-generation wine maker from France and he is utterly charming and so knowledgeable. The ports are delicious and you will enjoy getting a bottle for your Thanksgiving table. I will always bring guests here. It is a great place and so totally un-corporate that it is utterly refreshing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great views of the vineyards and a pond; lots of land for wandering or picnicking. They sell snacks, but do not have a kitchen. Open til six most nights; music on some Thursdays. Parking can be tricky when the place is crowded.

Visited here as 1 of 16 wineries on our annual Finger Lakes road trip. Although I did not care for the wines (several were port), the experience was well worth the stop. The winemaker explained in great detail the history of the winery as well as info on winemaking and their wines. In addition there was an interesting small wine museum on the premises.

Very nice little stop on our off season trip into Ithaca. The owner is a 5th generation wine maker from France and is absolutely wonderful. His little dog, Tucker, was an adorable addition. We have been to many wineries in Napa Valley but this was the most educational tour. All of the "antiques" in the shop were used on his family's wineries in France back in the 1800s. This stop doesn't take long but is worth a pop in!

Frédéric welcomed us in his winery and provided us a exceptional service. Besides the tasting, he also gave us plenty of information about the history of wine making and how proccess it today. Oh and he also has some of the best fortified wine we've ever had.
Thanks again for this wonderful visit Frédéric

This please it’s not big, but it is so cozy and welcoming. One of the owners was the one that was doing the tasting with us and she was so informative. She actually was having conversations with us. I bought my kids here and they just sat on the floor with their iPads while we enjoyed outside every place to come to.

Small, intimate winery. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but it was my favorite winery. The owner is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. All of their wine offerings were excellent. You may not have the exterior scenery, but I can definitely recommend this establishment.

I stopped at Ports of New York with some friends while visiting Ithaca for a wedding. This turned out to be one of the best experiences of the entire weekend!
We walked in about 2 minutes after the place opened, and the owner cheerfully welcomed us in. He gave an extensive and very interesting talk on his family's winery in France around the time of WWII, the history of his winery in NY, and the process of making, testing and transporting various types of wine.
We were then given free samples of both red and white port, and invited to explore the antique wine-making tools that are on display. All in all, we were at the winery for about 50 minutes, and I enjoyed every minute. The owner could not have been more welcoming, the facility was interesting, I appreciated the background information we were given, and let's not forget about the wine... Delicious! We hadn't even left the parking lot and I was already recommending Ports of NY to other friends. I will definitely return next time I am in Ithaca.

A friend and I recently visited several of the wineries in and around Ithaca, and Ports of New York was hands down our favorite. The wines are all delicious, and we loved chatting with Frederic about his family's history! HIGHLY recommended for any wine afficionado!
