An absolute waste of money. They happily take your $129 per person but then provide barely half the services promised. Which makes the lines for the things that are actually working twice as long. They don’t have enough people selling the overpriced tickets. They advertise a discount for veterans but not for the all inclusive tickets. This place is a rip off. Don’t say you were not warned. For what we paid we could have spent almost two days at Disney World with full hopper passes. I have an adventurous family and all are disappointed. Never coming back to Vail in winter or summer.

Perfect afternoon activity to enjoy and
Take a break from skiing. The tubing hill was fun ... we did the unlimited pass and spent about four hours there. It’s near The Outpost
for hot chocolate treat post tubing. They also take pictures of you coming down the hill for purchase.

My Son and I went on the Ski Bike Tour and we were certainly not disappointed, From Start to Finish we had a Great Time. If you enjoy thrill rides you will love this. I was such a Rush going down the slopes on these bikes.
We had 2 Great Guides in Tammy & Mac who helped make the experience complete.I would do this again no question.

Thanks again for the Great Experience

The boys, 7 and 3, loved the kids tubing and the mountain coaster. They each rode with an adult.
We rode the gondola from Lionshead late in the day. Kids ride fee with an adult. The top of the mountain is beautiful. The only downside is the cost of the mountain coaster. Steep.

What an amazing place to take the kids or a loved one. There are many exciting things to be seen and to do at the top of Vails gondola. Prepare for a night of thrills at Vails own Adventure Ridge! Many different activities are available for the family from ice skating to extreme tubing to snowmobiling and even ski biking! The staff are very helpful and there to make sure you have a great time. I highly encourage you to stop by and see what its like.

Last year on our bi-annual vacation to Vail we went snowmobiling on Adventure ridge. I have only been snowmobiling in the Vail area once before and it was nothing compared to our experience on Adventure ridge. We were able to make easy reservations, and my husband and three boys joined me for a terrific time. We went as early as possible and the scenery was spectacular, the ride was smooth and thrilling and the boys all rode on the back of an adult. We plan to do this every time we are there in the winter!

Out of no where the resort just closed down the tubing with no notice. Kind of bummed when you plan on that for one of your half days. Very disappointed. I have historically liked vail but a lot about this trip has been very poor for the money. Service at restaurants, closure of things during the holidays, etc. I know you don't have snow but you still have to take care of your customers somehow. They didn't even change prices on anything with limited runs. Pretty big money grab.

Long story short. My kids 7, 9, and 11 all loved the tubing hill. I even loved the tubing. My 5 year old on the other hand did not. We paid for 3 rides for $45 and she only did one. Lesson learned, she was too young.

Here's the deal. If you're on a budget...
Park in the Lionhead parking structure. It's free after 3pm. Walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondala and take it to the top after 330pm, again free.

Otherwise, parking is $25 and gondola passes for adults are $39ea and kids are $27ea, I believe.

This made for a relatively inexpensive activity in Vail. By the way, the gondola was the nicest I've ever been on. It seated 12, was enclosed, was warm, was easy to load and unload (even with small children). Also, while you wait there a nice kids playground 100 yards from the gondola loading area.

At the time of purchasing our passes and reserving them no one decided it was a good idea to tell us that the ticket price does jot include the lift price to get to get up the mountain to the adventure ridge office (another $64). But that was ok once we showed up at the base of the mountain and were told that if we waited till 3:30 that the lift was free. We asked about the fact that 3:30 was past our reservation. We were told they called to the top of the mountain and that they would move our reservation to 4 and it would all be fine. Upon waiting till the ride to the top was free we then waited 17 minutes in line to be told that it would be a two hour wait or a cancelation fee... Not worth the mess. It's a beautiful city but not so intelligent or helpful staffing at adventure ridge.

We showed up at 1130AM for tubing. After finally getting to the proper place for tickets, Paula who helped us tried to talk us out of it purely on the price. It was close to $100 to just go up the mountain in the gondola and then another ~$100 for three rides for two people.
Since we were going to get dinged for parking, we went with it. We get up to the top of the mountain and then we are told that tubing won't open up for another two hours. We indicated that this was never communicated. They asked if we had signed a release of liability form (we had not). The folks at the top of the mountain told us that there have been major miscommunication issues all season long. They offered to refund the tubing portion. We had to push back that it cost ~$100 for two people to go up the mountain just to find out the true and correct information. After some insisting a manager got involved and said they could refund the gondola if we promised to return down the mountain ASAP. We had no issue with that. Gave them one star for the customer service at the top of the mountain. Buyer beware.
