The Singapore Flyer is a fantastic way to see the Singapore Marina Bay in its entirety. The flyer moves in a very slow and calming manner. The entire experience is 30 minutes. The best time would be around 7:15/7:30 just as the sun is setting.

Great views and hopefully you can time it right!
Great place to take in all the amazing views Singapore has to offer. We went at sundown around 6:30 PM which was great because we then caught the end of daylight and the beginning of sunset which made for great pictures and an every better view. Be aware that there are self service kiosks to buy tickets around the corner in case there is a long line at the ticket counter. One thing we really appreciated was that they did not fill the capsule. There were less than 10 of us giving us all more than sufficient space to move around and take pics without being in each other's way.

Standard Ferris Wheel type viewing of the city
Good touristy experience getting a great view of Singapore. Line was only 5 minutes long at opening time. Plenty of room and time to take pictures, either standing up or sitting on the benches in each pod. Would have been nice if there had been an audio tour or some description of what one was looking at other than a few signs.

    Comfortable ride
Good to go in the afternoon as the queue is not too long and just about 10 minutes wait before getting into the coach, think around 10 people within the coach which could fit 28 in, so not so crowded and quite comfortable. Though it stated that it is equal to 42 storey high, it cannot view as far as it said. Mainly focus on Marina Bay and hardly see Sentosa, it is the only disappointment.

    Singapore Sling Ride, Great Experience
Enjoyed the ride. Singapore Sling Ride gets you into the lounge area which has a nice patio for picture taking while you wait. You are given your drink as you enter and have some snacks nuts as well. Nice spacious cart, music plays, 30minutes. We went on a Wednesday and had the cart to ourselves.

    Singapore fromTop
Flyer allows us to enjoy the complete view from height. I personally feel we should do this or Sand Bay as both have same view. This place is open from 2 pm onwards till 9.30 pm & tickets will cost u around 2500 per person. The Single round takes approx 30min, thus u can book your slot accordingly. The best time to go is weekdays to avoid rush & Que.

    Very good experience.
The Flyer was actually temporarily shut due to the bad weather. Which shows concern and safety. The staff were polite and communicated well. They explained well about the shut down. The wheel was great, clean and well managed. The staff even had a decent conversation with me and told me about the different types of capsules. Very nice.

    Wow experience with 360-degree view
We booked the tickets in the evening and experienced both day and night view. I also suggest the same for you, can go for musical fountain in Marina Bay after the ride. The capsule is smooth and moves slowly to reach top. It's an amazing experience to dine in by booking the food/ table if you can afford.

    History and a View!
We did the Time Capsule and then headed to the Flyer. The time capsule is about the history of Singapore. It is very informative and educational. The observational wheel lives up to its name and gives you a great view of the city. Would definitely recommend.

    See Singapore from high above
One of the best ways to see a city is from the top and the Flyer offers just that. Take your pick between a day flight and a night flight. We took a day flight and absolutely loved spotting the sights of Singapore from high above. Plan for a week day trip to beat the queues.

This is an overpriced eyesore. At worst it's a vain attempt to copy British technology without any regard to functionality and popularity, at best it's an expensive accoutrement to buttress Singapore's skyline. It adds a geometric dimension to the MBS structure. As a tourist draw it's a failure. Who wants to spend more than an hour on an expensive Ferris wheel. You can get better views at a cheaper price with a drink or meal included.
The facility has broken down several times leaving riders stranded. And the poor hawkers on the ground level don't get much traffic. Not one of our proudest monuments.

Having booked tickets through an agent in January and paying over £200 for the four of us we made the long walk in 36 degree from the water front towards the Flyer.
We had with us my wifes father who needed to stop several times because of a heart problem.
On reaching the base of the wheel we found it closed with barriers and scaffolding around it
We spoke to a person there and was told it was shut for scheduled maintence from 1st March to 1st April.
Later that day we recieved a message from the wheel hoping we would enjoy our visit and were told we had a slot at 11 am.
From the first booking day we had no specific time.
Had we of known we would not have booked and as we had a limited time in Singapore we would have arranged or schedule differently.
The Flyer company obviously knew when it would be closed but failed to inform the ticket agency or us.
We are now having great difficultly getting our money back.
We are extremely discusted with all concerned.

One of the worst managed attractions in Singapore. They do not inform you on their website that there may be a 3 hours wait even though you pre-purchased you ticket. They do not allow you to select a time slot while booking. There are snaking queues and the 1 meter social distancing is not followed. Worst experience in efficient Singapore

The Singapore Flyer is a good attraction and is probably worth going if you have nothing else to do. Lines were very short to non-existent.

While I found the views to be good, I think it's hard to compete with similar offerings from other tall structures nearby. The window panels weren't particularly clear either, so taking clear pictures was challenging.

The nearby shopping area is pretty depressing. Almost all the shops are closed and the observation wheel is itself only open from 3pm on the day I went. The food court is closed as I assume there isn't enough business.

I found the prices to be abnormally high. Over $30 per person for a 30min ride in a shared cabin. When compared to the Marina Bay Sands observation deck, this is a complete rip off.

You'd really only go if you want to take a picture of the Marina Bay Sands, since you obviously can't do that if you're on the MBS observation deck.

My experience with the Singapore Flyer was a mixture of expectations and slight disappointment. Renowned for offering a panoramic view of the sparkling cityscape, the flyer indeed provides a spectacular vista of the astounding skyline of Singapore. The 20-minute ride in the flyer, despite being brief, was enough to capture the city in all its grandeur. We were fortunate to have our own pod, adding a touch of luxury and privacy to the experience.

However, as alluring as this part of our adventure was, the additional Time Capsule was, unfortunately, a letdown. Marketed as a futuristic exploration of Singapore's past, present, and future, I found it to be underwhelming and not worth the additional cost. It seemed more like an artless attempt to extend the offering and left us feeling like our time and money could have been better spent elsewhere.

Singapore is indeed ingenious at crafting attractive tourist spots, but it's crucial to filter out the wheat from the chaff. An example of this is the prominence given to unimpressive attractions such as the Time Capsule. In comparison, the Flyer itself is a great draw for those looking to check out the city's dramatic panorama.

Though I would not strongly recommend the Singapore Flyer, especially with the inclusion of the Time Capsule, it can be a one-time experience for those who have never tasted the essence of Singapore from a dizzying height. With this perspective, one can arguably claim to have seen all of Singapore.

We've lived in Singapore for over 7 years now but we visited the flyer only in 2019 when guests came. Though we already know what an architectural marvel Singapore is, the panoramic views from the flyer make this ride worth it. We timed it to go up at twilight and come down after dark. It is quiet and peaceful as compared to views from other places and Singapore looks stunning in the night lights.
My only wish is that it was a tad longer at 45 minutes.

Local experience can be the best and accurate verdict. This is not the first time , however it is the first coming back with Marina Bay Sands established. Make sure to book a timing before night started as the blue sky will be relinquished, resulting a black background in your portraiture. Best timing in April is about 615pm and just in time to get bluish sky upon reaching the peak of the Singapore Flyer.

Unable to fly on our first booking due to bad weather, we were delighted to fly on the second date. Temperature taken, masks worn, and capsules held reduced numbers , making us feel very safe. The views are great, staff helpful and an interactive display well done.

A must activity with the family. Spectacular views of cause! We Went when it was raining but definitely didn’t affect the experience. The accent was gradual so no light head sensations. The commentary was great, very informative. The staff were all friendly. The gift shop is reasonably priced. The photos taken after the ride is sadly very expensive- one pic costs SD$25.
Further, Don’t bother trying the ‘Hot Kopi’ cafe on the ground floor… the staff a husband and wife team are miserable and rude. The food and drinks are made with a don’t care attitude. Prices are cheap though. Choices are vert limited. There are a few tables and stools but not enough if the Singapore Flyer was busy with hungry visitors. The gelato kiosk was worth the while 3 scoops was SD$9.50. Gelato was tasty nothing special! Long wait for a taxi. The Singapore time capsule is very interesting and educational. Very impressive special effects. Definitely recommend it. Tickets to the Singapore flyer includes the time capsule SD$40 pp. best to by direct from the onsite ticket office. It’s cheaper that other ticketing platforms.

The Singapore Flyer is one of the world’s largest observation wheel at a height of 165m. From the top, you can see views of Marina Bay Sands as well as the rest of the city and out to sea.
We thought it was a great experience to do while in Singapore and worth the cost.
