Klaudia arranged a marvelous private tour of Gdansk including Westerplatte and the Solidarity Museum. We were picked up at our cruise ship by our guide Marta. She is a wonderful ambassador for her city and country. Our tour with her was informative and fun. Her sharing of personal experiences was very enlightening. We loved the walk through the history of beautiful Gdansk and the Polish lunch in the Old Town. It was akin to spending a day with an old friend. We cannot recommend Easy Gdansk Tours and Marta highly enough.

Our pre-tour correspondence with the company was always professional, prompt and questions answered thoroughly. Our guide, Basia, was at the cruise terminal area to meet us right on time. We were escorted to a comfortable, non-smoking van with squeaky clean windows. Basia loved her job and city and her enthusiasm was evident throughout the full-day tour. She was conscientious about the time to get to places for optimal visiting time, aware of how to miss crowds, and knew all the shortcuts between locations. She was a fast walker and we doggedly (as seniors) kept up as we didn’t want to miss a thing. Having never visited Gdansk we were continually amazed as its history, culture, architecture, etc. The reconstruction of the historic center following World War II damage is amazing. Every effort was made to bring these architectural masterpieces back to life. Our tour included: Solidarity Square at the Gdansk Shipyards, Europe’s longest wooden pier at the beach resort city of Sopot, organ concert at the Oliwa Cathedral, short walk through a former Cistercian park, a walk along both sides of the Motlawa River seeing the iconic Crane, St. Mary’s Church, Upland Gate, Golden Gate, Royal route through the market area, Long Street, Town Hall, Neptune’s Fountain, Green Gate to name a few. We stopped for a delicious, traditional pierogi luncheon. We paid for our tour at the conclusion of the tour. Highly recommend this company for a fascinating insight into the beautiful city of Gdansk.

After corresponding with Klaudia via email, I decided to book her and it was money well spent. We spent entire day with Klaudia exploring Sopot and Gdansk, and it was one of the best tours I have ever been on.
Klaudia picked us up from our hotel in Gdansk. While driving to Sopot, she gave us great overview of Tri-City. We started our tour from the pier and Monte Casino. On our way back from Sopot we stopped in Oliwa cathedral for a beautiful organ concert. After the concert, Klaudia took us for coffee and polish pastry.
We decided instead of going to Gdynia, we would stop at the Solidarity museum, unfortunately we were unable to go inside as they were closer for private event. Kaludia made up for that by telling us everything to know about the Solidarity movement, the comunism and what people lived thru during that time. Klaudia is from Gdansk, she lived there her entire life, who better to show you around than a local?
After the museum, we went to Gdansk, where we explorered the old town, Mariacka and Dluga streets. We also stopped in Amber Gallery where we were treated to a wonderful demonstration on how abers are polished and how to spot the fakes from real deal.
The day was very long and very tiring but worth every minute. After out tour, we parted our ways with hugs. Klaudia is very easy to talk to, in just few minutes after meeting her, I felt like she was a friend. I would recomment Easy Gdansk Tours to anyone who wants to explore the Tri-City.

Our Baltic cruise this summer had a stop in Gdansk and we contacted Klaudia at EasyGdanskTours.com. She was very responsive and gave us several options being that we had all day in port. Making a reservation couldn't have been easier. The tour we chose consisted of visits to Gdansk as well as Gydnia & Sopot. Klaudia confirmed our tour a few days before we left and when one of the members of our group became ill and required a wheelchair, she was able to accommodate that with no problem. Our guide, Margaret, met us right at our ship and we started our tour. Margaret spoke wonderful English and she was very knowledgeable about all of the places we visited. The sights were too many to mention, but we covered everything that was suggested on the itinerary. Our tour was thoroughly enjoyable and I highly recommend it

On July 9 of this year, my husband and I were part of a group of 8 visiting Gdansk on a cruise. Klaudia Popielska was our fantastic guide. She promptly met us at the pier and warmly welcomed our group. Our first stop was Sopot, a beautiful resort area. We then visited a beautiful church where we were treated to an organ concert. Then on to Gdansk for a delicious lunch and then a walk along the River and a visit to St. Mary's Church. Klaudia was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Upon return to our ship, each woman was presented with a rose and each man with a bottle of local beer - a very nice touch. Highly recommend Klaudia - she will make your trip special.

She was conscientous, informed and very pleasant to spend several days with. Her English was excellent and she made sure we experienced authentic food and attractions. A group of 10 of us visited Gdansk recently and engaged the services of Easy Gdansk Tours for our 3 day break! Arriving early morning after our 6.00 a.m. flight, Klaudia met us on arrival at the airport promptly and welcomed us on the Tour Bus with a glass of champagne and freshly baked pastry! This set the tone for the following 3 days as Klaudia, with good humour and professionalism, showed us the sights of Gdansk and added to our itinerary to ensure we experienced the very best that wonderful Gdansk has to offer! Klaudia also went out of her way to purchase medication for one of our group who had a dodgy knee! On departure, Klaudia presented each one of our group with a small bottle of speciality vodka as a memento of our trip to Gdansk. I would certainly highly recommend Easy Gdansk Tours to anyone considering visiting this wonderful city! Thanks Klaudia!

In May of 2014 we took a Silversea cruise which stopped in Gdansk; I did not expect Gdansk to be a highlight of the cruise and was surprised when it far exceeded our expectations.

We've done a considerable amount of traveling in Europe and hired a fair number of guides; I would rate Klaudia in the top two and probably #1. One expects a guide to be knowledgeable about his or her country; Klaudia was also willing to share her personal opinions about current events (and people!) and I find that very attractive in a guide. She also managed to arrange a special event for us that I didn't think was going to be possible; it was a memorable experience that I won't divulge here lest she get inundated with many special requests!

I recommend Klaudia unconditionally if you have some time to spend in Gdansk. If any reader of this review is interested in a detailed comparison of Silversea and Regents there is one on cruisecritic that I wrote.

Thank you, Klaudia! We hope to return in the future.

We booked our day tour for 4 people via email. Ms Klaudia was very helpful and open to our suggestions and ideas. Our group consisted of one Pole (myslef and 3 English speakers. Myslef and my partner are around 30 and my partner's parents are in their 60's, so it was quite wide age range. Our guide Ms Jola spoke fluent English and took us to Oliwa Cathedral first (transport included), then to Solidarity square and 'The Road to Freedom' museum covering communsim and soviet influence and transformation to democracy times. Then we went for lunch @ traditional Polish restaurant 'U Dzika'and continued in Old Town. The tour took from 10:30 am until 5:30 pm. We were all very pleased with it and I would highly reccomend it. It allowed my British family to fully understand the Communist times and reality of live under Soviets, they enjoyed it very much and Ms Jola is very passionate about history and very knowledgeable. She answered all questions thrown at her. A must - do when you visit Tricity.

I knew from my first correspondence with Klaudia, owner of Easy Gdansk Tours, to our final hug when we returned to the cruise ship, that our private tour of the tri-city area was going to be spectacular. I was not disappointed. Nor were the other five couples in our group.

I booked with Klaudia after reading many reviews of her company and others on Trip Advisor, and then checking with my Polish friend before finalizing our arrangement. Klaudia suggest I find four more couples, which I did via a very active Cruise Critic board. When a fifth couple asked to join the tour Klaudia said "ok, but that's it".

We were the last to get off the ship and Klaudia greeted me with a big hug and said, "I've waited so long to meet you". Warm and wonderful, for sure. 12 of us headed out together for what one of the group called, "the best tour I've ever taken".

Klaudia and our driver, Henry, were meticulous in their planning. Every detail was decided ahead of time to render the most memorable experience in the seven hours we had for the tour. All of us wanted to stay in Sopot - what a heavenly place for a vacation. We strolled the wood wharf, the longest wooden pier in Europe, enjoyed the view from the top of the high tower and just marveled at the architecture and clean, clean air of Sopot.

From there, we headed through Gdynia to Gdansk for a day filled with an organ recital (organ took 25 years to build in the 18th century), a tour of the Old Town, lunch at a lovely Polish restaurant in the Old Town, visited the largest brick church in the world - St. Mary's Basilica - home to the Astronomical Clock, Hans Memling "Last Judgement" painting and too much more to list here.

When we got back to the pier we said our "good-bye" and "thank you" to Klaudia and Henry. As we stood in line, Klaudia came running back to introduce us to her cousin She had noted that several people enjoyed the Polish beer at lunch and so she called her cousin and asked him to bring Polish beer and roses to the pier. She surprised us with roses for the women and beer for all.

Everyone who was on this tour kept thanking me for the reminder of the cruise for including them on this adventure. People who didn't join us commented that they heard this was a fantastic tour from others.

The most important factor making this such a fabulous experience is Klaudia! She is a stickler for details, wants to make sure her clients have the best and most educational tour possible and make sure that all their needs are met.

She worried about the few who needed to sit more often than others, took care of my dairy allergy at lunch and made certain we were all within eyesight all of the time. She also did not take us to "tourist" shops, other than to stop at a shop where we learned about Russian Amber.

I highly, highly recommend Easy Gdansk Tours. You can't go wrong and your money will be well spent. Thank you, Klaudia!!!!
