A very private beach during the coronavirus. Not many people, amazing waters. Nearby a great taverna with wonderful greek food.

Flanked by rocky hlills and looking over at Naxos. This deserted large beach area is a little piece of paradise. No amenities available, so pack drinks and food if you plan to stay. More waves than other beaches in Parks. Trees along the stone beach provide shade. Discover your own private oasis at Glyfa beach

Quiet and remote rocky beach but calm enough to just float or take a nap under the trees. A little snack shop in the parking lot serves food and drinks or enjoy an amazing meal at the Glyfa Restaurant next door.

No sand on the beach. Sand under the tree shade.
You need swimming shoes as they are big pebbles on the 'beach' - in fact there is no sand 'beach'.

This is a small beach with trees as shades that you can use for a change if you are staying nearby, e.g. in Drios village. Accessible by car.

Ask at the hotel where you stay, if the day is appropriate for that beach. We passed from there and the wind almost took us, so we did not go to the beach, but continued to the other side of the island.

The Estiatorio Restaurant is at Glypha Beach. It is a family run business - father grows the vegetables in the beautifully manicured garden. Mother cooks the most wonderful food. On our first visit we had potato salad followed by cock in tomato sauce and my husband had goat in lemon sauce. BUT I am gluten intolerant and couldn't eat much else. I wanted to eat Moussaka while in Greece so mother kindly agreed to make the sauce with cornflour for our next visit. Our starter was boiled greens with the garlic and olive oil sauce. How does she make something so simple taste so good? The moussaka was excellent ! If you have special dietary needs contact them on kaparoubiz@hotmail.gr

We explored most of the beaches on Paros. This one is OK but there are lots better with closer parking and cleaner sand.
