It is a laser quest thingy where you run around shooting people (not on your team). You always get to shoot their bases, which are pretty lights! It is quite dark and smokey inside with 3 floors and many objects such as barrels and mesh wire. It was "bangin" and hectic fun! for ages suitable 7+ (even though I went there when I was five) Watch out for the Japanese Guys they're really good.

Short Answers: Yes we are.
We'd all been to Megazone... a long long time ago I can still remember how those lasers used to make me smile and I knew if I had my chance that I could make the team war dance and maybe they'd be happy for a while. But this June made me shiver with every shot that I delivered, bad news for the Blue team couldn't shoot one more beam. I do remember that we won when I showed my skill with a laser gun and the opposition we did stun the day we went to Quasar.

Been here twice now - first time was with a group of friends from uni in December and the second time was also with a group of uni friends in February. Wonderful experience within the area, a good way to let off some steam however I was not impressed with the rude member of staff at the front desk. As advertised on their website, we were after the student price of £5.50 for two games when paying before 4pm. We were spoken to very rudely and the lady (short brown hair with freckles) tried telling us that because it was close to 4pm we were no longer able to pay the student price. As far as I am concerned, if you're taking my money before 4pm then I am paying what is advertised on your website. Have never been made to feel so unwelcome and this member of staff was also very snappy to the other girl working with her. Apart from this, it was an enjoyable experience. Maybe some happier staff would help and add to the playful environment!

My friends had a birthday party here and wow, it was exhilarating! The game play of this Quasar game is fast paced and fun.
The game requires teamwork and is good with around 10 players so the teams can defend and attack thief bases properly.
The food they provided was mediocre but we went complaining as we were so tired from the constant action.
I would totally recommend this to kids above 10 years old and adults who wanna have some fun for a change.

Had an amazing trip to quasar(which it's now called), had such a laugh with a small group of people. It needs doing up abit, it's appears "shabby" toilets very dated and dark and dirty appearing. And possibly invest in some kind of hygiene spray for the vests you have to wear, we went in after a group of young lads who had been in 45mins and the vests were soaked...YUM!!
Staff friendly and answered any question we had. But overall had a very good time. Excellant value for money and very good they have put a window in for anyone to watch especially if parents dont want to go in.

Went here for a friends birthday party, even though we were a little older than the average megazone go-or (now called lazer quest) it's a brilliant day out. Really wears you out! I think it could do with a lick of paint, or a little bit of a makeover as it has a funny smell and looks a bit tired. But the staff are really friendly and literally it is so much fun! Definately would recommend it to anyone.

Megazone is also known as The Quaser or Lazer play centre, based in Norwich on St Stephens Road. It is a great game rather like paintballing, but it is with lazer guns, played in the dark.
It is for people over the age of 7 only. They cater for all kinds of parties from Stag, Hen, Students, Team Building Events to Birthday parties. However, if there are only 4 of you, you can either turn up and hope to join in with others or book, which is handy. However, adults will play with adults and children with children, unless of course you book as a family or party.
We had a great time, we booked two sessions, each session being at least 20 minutes long. The price including briefing and kit. Score was kept throughout the game so that you can look at them at the end. You have to work as a team against another team, but quietly so as not to give your position away.
It is ideal for those rainy days, although anytime is good and is open seven days a week. Prices are reasonable cheap. The only problem is parking, although there are a few quite big carparks reasonably close, but obviously this adds to the price of the day. However, it can be reached easily by public transport.
The overall place could do with a little love and care, it is looking a little tatty inside, but obviously in the dark this is not to noticeable!! The outside perhaps could be made to look a little more attractive and noticeable. You could easily miss it, if you did not know it is there!!
However, it is a good day out and i fully recommend it.
