- Charlotte PKidderminster, UK37 contributionsOur first visit here today. It was so interesting and fascinating to see the exhibits. The planetarium show was incredible too.
The only reason for marking it down was the cost of items in the shop! Some bits were reasonable enough but a lot was very expensive. I get that the attraction is a charity, but some bits were overpriced on top of an already fairly expensive entry fee and parking fee.
The entry fee works out well if you’re local and can benefit from the free returns but not great for those travelling from further afield.Written January 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The parrot experience at the end of the park was fantastic. We had a great time, not expensive and highly recommended. Staff really nice, shop reasonable and coffee/cake also really good, next door.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jaynie196724 contributionsWhat a fabulous informative exhibition! Loved every minute of it! Very reasonably priced, we bought tickets at Bosworth for both centres and saved £’s.
From the minute you walk in you are greeted with history.
I was fine but my partner did get a headache half way around, he thinks the lights flashing and noise, particularly in the battle area where there was alot going on on the walls around you caused it.( I thought it was great!)Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is such a fantastic place takes me right back to my childhood and is great showing my son the games like manic miner, attic attac and granny’s garden!! The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable. Real gem of a place,Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TonyNorth East England, UK2 contributionsReally nice theatre with friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of legroom in the seats so you are not too cramped. Nice cafe or bar options with lots of seating space. Downside is the area is saturated with beggars. Lots of options close to the theatre for food and drink both pre and post show.Written March 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - iansimonetaylorCambridge, UK138 contributionsWe past this place as It was close to our hotel and was on a very nice walk in to town, "The New Walk'. It has a variety of displays ranging from dinosaurs, to modern art. I am not normally a fan of modern art, but I must admit, I liked the Picasso pottery. In the dinosaur section they have put frames around outlining the shapes and sizes of some of animals. I liked this idea. There was a good display of some of the recent History of Leicester, and the poem read out on a loop, with the words written out on the wall was very emotional. All in all, a good time well spent.Written February 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Patricia ELeicester, UK72 contributionsI have always loved this beautiful medieval building and have visited it several times since we moved to Leicester three years ago. I had a big birthday last weekend and thought I would be having a surprise meal at a restaurant but when we turned towards the Guildhall and discovered my family had organised a party there for me I was speechless! It was a dream come true, I know weddings and events are held there (I’ve been to a few events) but couldn’t have imagined a party for me. It was a wonderful evening, guests particularly loved visiting the cells. A huge thank you to Ben, my family said he was so helpful in arranging the party and welcoming guests on the evening and Bethan who with Ben ran the bar. An unforgettable evening at the Guildhall.Written February 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Gail G5 contributionsThis was the first time I had visited and was hugely impressed. It's a perfect venue, superb acoustics and architecturally very attractive with friendly and organised staff. Set in parkland with easy car parking facilities and near to some lovely restaurants. Highly recommend .Written March 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SolihullRichardDorridge, UK928 contributionsThe free to enter (a few specialist days excepted) museum has a variety of exhibits before you go through to the immense pumping station room which must be amazing when in operation. The processes to deal with water provision and disposal are the main focus of the initial displays, along with items relevant to Leicester manufacturing. A decent length film covering trams in the city is shown in a small cinema. There’s a decent playground for younger kids outside, and a small gauge train for rides around the edge of the site - but check for timesWritten March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
